Recitation of the Chaplet, Rosary and Benediction of the Blessed Sacrament

O Blood and Water, which gushed forth from the Heart of Jesus as a fountain of Mercy for us, I trust in You!

Eternal God, in whom mercy is endless and the treasury of compassion --- inexhaustible, look kindly upon us and increase Your mercy in us, that in difficult moments we might not despair nor become despondent, but with great confidence submit ourselves to Your holy will, which is Love and Mercy itself.

THANK YOU to Alex and Hajval Kezdi for donating the pussy willows from their garden for Palm Sunday. NEW PARISHIONERS AT ST. MEL St. Mel Parish extends a warm welcome to Samantha Spoerndle.

Become a part of Mary’s Shrine and help to bring to completion our church!

FISH FRY THANK YOU The conclusion of the Season of Lent and the celebration of the Easter Season means that our annual parish-sponsored Fish Fry has concluded. The outstanding suc-cess of the Fish Fry is completely dependent on the dedi-cation and hard work of the many volunteers listed below. All who are members of Saint Mel parish can be genu-inely grateful for the efforts these persons put in to assur-ing that the Fish Fry happens.

The Fish Fry provides its many customers with a fine din-ner experience in a congenial atmosphere. It also gener-ates significant proceeds for the parish. More important than this is the very evident benefit derived in the interac-tion between the different generations represented in the customers and workers who take part in this event.

While the presence of all of our volunteers is an integral part of the success of the Fish Fry, a special word of thanks goes to Diane Bonoan for her efforts in organizing the supplies and managing the preparation of the food that is served.

Again, a very large thank you to the following volunteers who make the Fish Fry possible:

Growing in FAITHFAITH

Discovering hope and joy in the Catholic faith

ONE MINUTE MEDITATION: Heart to Heart There is nothing wrong with “pestering” God (Matthew 7:7), but think: if this was all we did with our loved ones, what quality of relationship would that be? Instead, God seeks a personal relationship with each of us—to converse with us heart-to-heart. Of course, tell him what’s on your heart, but don’t forget to listen to him, too.
