We will give the collected items to those in need. Thank you!

Bible Verse of the Week Each week in religious education classes,

our students are memorizing one Bible verse. This past week’s verse was from Matthew 5:14.

You are the light of the world.

Teen Choir and Dinner — next practice Dec. 11th.

December Month of the Immaculate Conception

December is the month the Church has traditionally dedicated to the Immaculate Conception of the Blessed

Virgin Mary. The Solemnity of the Immaculate Conception is the patronal feast of the patron of our nation. The Immaculate

Conception refers to Mary being conceived in the womb

of her mother, Saint Anne, without original sin. This is the doctrine that holds that Mary was without sin from the moment of her conception. She was given the graces necessary for her life in anticipation of the Incarnation of the Word, the Son of God made man.

Get Your Breakfast! Join your church family for our monthly

parish breakfast. Come, eat, and chat after the 9:00am Mass on Sunday, December 15th.

Donations will go to our local Catholic radio station.

Adult Education

Come and See Thursday, December 12, 2019

after the 8:30am Mass in the East Classroom.

We are currently watching videos and discussing the Blessed Mother, Queen of

Heaven and Earth. Come join us for coffee and fellowship.

Bible Study Coming in January following the Tuesday 5:15pm Mass!

We will be working through the Book of Revelation

using the Great Adventure Bible Study series

by Jeff Cavins and Thomas Smith.

Christmas Flowers

If you would like to get a poinsettia in the honor of a loved one, we invite you to make a donation towards the poinsettias. Please use the envelope sent with your December collection envelopes or

pick one up in the back of the church. Please fill out the envelope with the person’s name and ensure that your

check is marked with “Christmas Flowers.”

This year the Solemnity of the Immaculate Conception of the Blessed Virgin Mary is transferred to Monday,

December 9th and is NOT a holy day of obligation. Mass will be offered at 12:10pm on December 9th.

From Father Samuel I will be gone Dec. 10-13, so we will not have

Mass or Confessions on those days. I have what is called a “deviated septum” which makes it hard to

breathe through my nose. It is very common condition that I have had for years. I will have a (rather routine) surgery in Billings on the 10th to

correct it, and will recover with my parents through Dec. 13. Please keep me in your prayers. Thanks!

Did You Know… that St. Leo’s has a Prayer Chain?

If you would like to add an intention to the prayer chain to have the parish community pray with you, please feel

free to contact the office. All prayer requests are confidential.
