The angel said to them, “Do not be afraid; for behold, I proclaim to you good news of great joy that will be for all the people. For today in the city of David a savior has been born for you who is Messiah and Lord. Luke 2:10-11 My Dear brothers and sisters of St. Joseph, The good news which we celebrate on Christmas is that God has come to us, not with power and might, but as an infant, fragile and vulnerable, as-suming our own human nature. The good news of Christmas is the good news of Christmas is the good news of the mystery of the Incarnation, Jesus fully human and fully divine. The Divine became one of us as an infant, to show us the way to God. Even in the face of darkness and pain, which Jesus Himself experienced, we know that God walks with us. Christmas is about the presence of Jesus Christ in our lives. It is the celebration of His birth - the gift of God to us all.

This Christmas we are blessed to celebrate the Nativity of our Savior in our beautiful church I want to thank all of you who have shared so generously your time, talents and treasures! That is what being a faith community is all about ! Thanks to the prayers and generous donations of each and everyone of you our new roof is complete.

Just as St. Joseph was a provider for the Family of Nazareth, we ask him also to be the provider for all the families of St. Joseph this Christmas and all through the New Year.. I humbly ask that when your are doing your Christmas gifts don’t forget to include your parish St. Joseph Church.

May your home be filled with the Divine Presence of Jesus newborn, may He’s blessing be with you through out the year. Know that I will remember each and everyone of you in my celebrations of the Holy Eucharist during this time of Christmas and New Year.

Mis estimados hermanos y hermanas de San José, La Buena noticia que celebramos en Navidad es que Dios a venido a noso-tros, no como el poderoso, pero como un bebe, frágil y vulnerable, asu-miendo a nuestra propia naturaleza humana. La Buena Noticia de la Navi-dad es la Buena noticia del misterio de la Encarnación, Jesús enteramente humano y totalmente Divino. El Divino se hizo uno de nosotros como bebe, para enseñarnos el camino hacia Dios. Aun en los tiempos obscuros y de dolor, que Jesús mismo experimento, sabemos que Dios cami-na con nosotros. Navidad es la presencia de Jesucristo en nuestras vidas. Es la celebración de Su nacimiento - El regalo de Dios para todos nosotros.

En la Navidad tenemos la bendición de celebrar la Natividad de nuestro Salvador en nuestra bella iglesia. Quiero agradecer a todos ustedes quienes han compartido tan generosamente, su tiempo, talento y tesoro! Eso es lo que significa ser una comunidad de Fe! Gracias a cada uno de ustedes con sus oraciones y genero-sas donaciones, ya parte de nuestra iglesia cuenta con un techo nuevo.

Así como San José era el proveedor de la Familia de Nazaret, también le pedimos que sea el proveedor de todas las familias de San José esta navidad y a través de todo el Año Nuevo 2014. Les pido humildemente que cuando estén contemplando su regalo de navidad no se olviden de su parroquia.

Que en este año 2014 que La Santa Virgen María y San José nos dejan a su hijo en nuestras vidas podamos sentir la presencia Divina del recién nacido, Jesús y que su luz nos ilumine durante todo el año. Cada uno de ustedes estarán presentes en la celebración de la Eucaristía de Navidad y Año Nuevo agradeciendo a Dios el regalo de tenerlos como familia parroquial .

Oh what fun it is… Lunch with Santa-Saturday December 7th we had over 200 people in our lunch with Santa event at St. Joseph’s!! Kids were taking pictures with Santa, having lunch, making crafts and enjoying raffles!! Thank you to all the people who helped and joined with our lunch and make it a success, just like every year!!! Christmas Kermess and Our Lady of Guadalupe Events-Our school came together to celebrate these multicultural events in these past few weeks and we thank all our families, sponsors and madrinas for your hard work at making these gratifying events a huge success! Upcoming Events-HFCS will be hosting an Early Childhood Open House for the 2014-2015 school year on January 30th at 7 pm. If you know of anyone with children ages 3-5, please spread the word and invite fami-lies to attend this event. Sacrament Procedures

Baptisms: Pre-baptism Class is required before your date will be set. Please register two to three months in advance.

Weddings: Spiritual Preparation begins at least SIX months in advance. Do not make your res-ervations until you have met with pastor.

Sacrament of the Sick: First Fridays 7:30 am. & Communion Visits: Call the Parish Office.
