Dear Parishioners:

This year’s season of Lent begins Ash Wednesday

February 14th and we are offering one Mass and three ash

distribution services (without Mass) at our two parishes

throughout the day.

Lenten regulations are as follows:

1. Catholics who have celebrated their 14th birthday are to

abstain from meat on Ash Wednesday, all Fridays in Lent,

and Good Friday.

2. In addition to abstaining from meat, Catholics who have

celebrated their 18th birthday, until they celebrate their 59th

birthday, are to fast on Ash Wednesday and Good

Friday. Those who are bound to this regulation may eat

only one full meal. Two smaller meals are permitted if

necessary to maintain strength according to one’s needs,

but eating solid foods between meals is not permitted.

Let’s have the Best Lent Ever!

Peace!

Sesquicentennial Anniversary books!!

They have arrived!! These books are given to each

family as a gift from your parish...the book costs the

parish $33. A donation will gladly be accepted. Make

your check out to your respective parish!
