Mother’s Day Weekend to Father’s Day           Weekend. Bottles available at all church doors             starting on May 13th. 

 Dayspring Pregnancy Center is a Pro­Life  

organization supported only by private donations with offices in  West Lebanon and Claremont offering all services without charge   including: 

 

● Pregnancy Testing ● Ultrasounds ● Practical Support for Pregnancy with 

educational opportunities, basic baby and maternity items, as well as other assistance 

● Peer Counseling to assist new and expectant moms and dads with practical education, spiritual encouragement and a listening ear 

● Abstinence Education helping young people embrace a lifestyle of sexual integrity 

● Recovery Programs to bring emotional healing and spiritual reconciliation to men and women suffering after an abortion experience 

● Grace House of the Upper Valley residential home for expectant and new moms and babies

If you feel that someone you know would benefit from                   a physical reminder that someone is praying for them,                 then they could be a good recipient for a prayer shawl!                     To request a shawl or lap blanket for yourself, a friend                     or a loved one, please call Maggie at Sacred Heart                   parish office at 448­1262.   

2018 Scarves for Troops Our ministry has decided to participate in the scarves for                   troops program. Scarves should be no larger than 4­6”                 wide and 48­50” long. Any yarn can be used but subtle                     and darker colors are prefered. Use any pattern you                 prefer in either knit or crochet. Thanks to generous                 donors, yarn is available at the office. The Pregnancy Center is hosting a free Ministry Orientation on May 12 th  from 9 am – 4 pm.  What is Ministry Orientation?  It is the first stage of training for anyone wishing to become more involved in the Pregnancy Center or Grace House.  The focus is to show the folks why we do what we do and how we do it!  Attendees may use the day to simply become more acquainted with the Pregnancy Center or they 

may decide that they want to be more involved! Please call 298­6123 for more information or to register. 

 

The Ascension of the Lord A Holy Day of Obligation 

The Ascension of Our Lord, which occurred 40               days after Jesus Christ rose from the dead on                 Easter , is the final act of our redemption that                 Christ began on  Good Friday . On this day, the                 risen Christ, in the sight of His apostles, ascended                 bodily into Heaven.

The Diocese is offering       two workshops in     Manchester to continue the       training for Lifelong Faith       

Formation in our parishes. On May 22nd, John               Roberto will be “Envisioning and Designing Adult             Faith Formation” and on June 6th, Joe Paprocki               will present: "Families as the Domestic Church:             Calling Parents Back from Exile!" Both           workshops are from 9:00 am ­3:00 pm and space                 is limited. Please contact Amy Cheevers at             448­1262 to register by May 6th if you would like                   to attend either or both.
