INFORMACJE KSIĘDZA PROBOSZCZA Drodzy przyjaciele kościoła Św. Jadwigi. Należy usunąć stary beton i zainstalować nowa nawierzchnie.

Niech Bóg Was błogosławi. Wasz Pastor, Ks. Piotr

FROM THE PASTOR’S DESK Dear Parishioners and Friends of Saint Hedwig’s Church. In this bulletin I would like to invite you to participate in our Fall Lottery that will begin in our parish this weekend. This will be an attempt at collecting enough funds for the renovation of the Crying Room, which will be for families with children as well as much needed renovations that must be completed before the winter begins. We have to start working on the foundation of the church from the Linden Avenue side. The old concrete needs to be removed and new pavement installed. This is a very urgent situation and we must finish the work before the winter begins. Immediate repairs of the drainage system are also urgent. Right now, gutters on the roof are disconnected from each other and clogged. As we know the properly working drainage system is very important and we must begin the work as soon as possible. I ask you all to come together and participate in the Fall Lottery that will help us gather funds for these important projects. The price of the lottery ticket will be $10.00. We have 1,000 tickets, which we want to sell by the end of November. As always I thank you all from my heart for your generosity.

God Bless You All. Your Pastor, Fr. Peter

WÉÇËà YÉÜzxà lÉâÜ Utuç UÉààÄx4 n the weekend of September 23rd & 24th, St. Hedwig parish will be hosting a Baby Bottle Fundraiser to benefit The Life Center of Long Island.

The Life Center is a crisis pregnancy center that counsels women and men who are experiencing an unplanned pregnancy. Did you know that they provide: o free pregnancy tests o maternity housing with eligibility

requirements o medical care o referrals o cribs o car seats o diapers o …and all other baby items that may be needed

We are asking that you pick up a baby bottle and fill it with your change. (Make checks out to the Life Center of L.I.)

PLEASE RETURN THE BOTTLES ON bvàÉuxÜ DGà{ 9 DHà{

Most importantly, we are asking you to recite the prayer on the bottle. The prayer attached to the bottle will enable the counselors at The Life Center to say just the right words a mother or father may need to hear. It especially opens a mother’s heart to accept the truth. We believe these prayers lead abortion-minded women to call The Life Center in the first place.

If you have any questions please contact rectory or Director of Religious Education Christopher Gospodarzec 631-875-8413 We look for Volunteer Religious Catechists or Assistant Catechists in our church.
