Cabrini Catholic School- An Excellent Choice At Cabrini Catholic School , we believe all students have the ability to learn. We are blessed to presently offer a K-12 school system for our parishioners and all those who seek a quality education, family atmosphere, all in a Catholic environment.

I am also happy to announce, that beginning with the 2020-21 academic year, we will be adding a Pre-School & Young Five’s program to Cabrini Catholic School. St. Frances Cabrini Catholic School, soon to be, from ages 3 – 18, brings our Catholic faith to life by instilling wisdom and compassion in our students and community. We are committed to the total development of each student spiritually, academically and physically from early childhood through high school. Our students are confident leaders who, like Mother Cabrini, declare “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.” (Philippians 4:13). We offer many grants to help our families afford a Catholic education. If you are interested in our Catholic school for your child(ren) or would like more information about our pro-grams or available grants, please inquire at the appropriate school office or cabriniparish.org. January 26 Third Sunday in Ordinary Time In this Sunday’s Gospel, we find that Jesus “...went around all of Galilee, teaching in their synagogues, proclaiming the gospel of

the kingdom, and curing every disease and illness among the people.” This month, through your gifts, the Society of St. Vincent de Paul was able to proclaim the good news of the kingdom to the poor, by providing assistance to many of our neighbors food, rent and utility payments.

National High School SAT Scores Pope Quote “The Catholic school’s proper function is to create for the school community a special atmosphere animated by the Gospel spirit of freedom and charity, to help youth grow according to the new creatures they were made through baptism as they develop their own personalities, and finally to order the whole of human culture to the news of salvation so that the knowledge the students gradually acquire of the world, life and man is illumined by faith.” – St. Pius VI That’s all for now, see you in Church, Fr. Faith Formation

The Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults

Our RCIA team has a series of topics that is presented weekly to explore the beliefs of the Ro-man Catholic Church. It is part of the journey for our 15 candidates and catechumens who seek to enter the Catholic Church at the Easter Vigil, but open to all. While the RCIA is a process for unbaptized adults and children of catechetical age, as well as those baptized in another Chris-tian denomination, the RCIA team extends an invitation to all parishioners, their families and friends who want to learn more about and deepen their faith. Topics (listed below) are presented from 11:15 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Sundays in Mother Cabrini Room. The sessions provide an excellent opportunity to nurture our faith. For more information, call the Religious Education Office at 313-928-4727 or email [email protected]
