Attention! NO MORE BUNDLE SUNDAY

We are sad to announce that the Alameda County St. Vincent de Paul will no longer be doing Bundle Sunday. In order to carry out the mission to provide services for Alameda County people in need, they need to minimize store expenses. They work very hard to process donations and sell them. If you have items that are quite worn, have pet hair, are soiled, need repair, or can't withstand the constant moves required in the store, they have to be sent to the landfill which is the largest store expense! Honestly, the bottom-line is that we have been losing money on this one! But no worries, you can still donate your items by taking them to our Decoto Road Store: 3777 Decoto Rd., Fremont, 510-792-3711, Donate: Tuesday-Sunday 10am - 4:30pm. Here is a list of the items we accept: Dresses, skirts and formalwear - Blouses and shirts - Pants and jackets - Purses and bags Accessories: hats, belts, jewelry, shoes, boots Kitchen goods and house wares Sturdy furniture in good condition. No stains, rips, or pet use! Linens, towels, curtains - Sewing machines, sporting goods. Working flat screen televisions, stereos, radios And please--wash or dry-clean clothing, test electrical items, and include all pieces and parts to your donation! For a list of items they cannot accept, please go to http://www.svdp-alameda.org/what-to-donate.html. If they are unable to accept your donation, fear not! For a website that can direct you to disposal or donation sites for those items, check out Recycle Where at www.recycelwhere.org. We want to thank you for your many years of support for this part of our mission. Please be assured that your local SVdP group continues to labor daily to serve the poorest of the poor in our Newark and St. Edward family communities. God bless you.
