THROUGH THE SACRAMENT OF BAPTISM:
Nathaniel Maurice Morneau
son of Joel & Victoria Morneau
May the grace of God he received at his rebirth remain with him
always and may he grow in the love and friendship of our loving
Father.
For the convenience of those planning to use the traditional
advent wreath in their homes to prepare for Christmas, we
will publish the prayers that accompany the lighting of each
week’s candle.
Standard Advent wreath candles are available in the sacristy
for purchase.
FIRST WEEK
Prayer: O Lord, stir up your might we beg you, and come,
that by your protection we may deserve to be rescued from
threatening dangers of our sins and saved by your
deliverance. Through Christ our Lord. Amen. (The purple
candle opposite the pink one is lit and left burning during the
evening meal, family prayers or another specified time.)

Help care for elders. “ Thanks to support from the Retirement Fund for Religious, we are now in a much better position to care for our elders,” writes a religious sister. Your donation helps her religious community and hundreds of others provide for aging members and plan for long-
term needs. Please give to Next Week’s Retirement Fund for Religious collection.
The Little Blue Books offering daily reflections for Advent are
available at the Church doorways this weekend. Please take a
copy home with you to take well deserved time to remember
the true meaning of Christmas.

In addition to tags for children’s gifts, there will be monetary envelopes to support our care packages to the troops. If you have any questions concerning the Giving Tree, please contact Lisa Andersen or Sue Claughsey.
