Outreach Last weekend was impressive in the number of activities that are available for us to help others. Many of you think, I can never do those things. But you CAN help and give what you are able. Simply help our Food Bank and

pick up one can of tuna or chicken, or canned peas or carrots, or a box of cereal. Our Food Bank is open 3 days a week, throughout the year. Place your donation in the bin just inside the Church Hall doors, near the bath-rooms. Think of the poor widow in Mark when Jesus taught “...this poor widow has put in more than all those who are contributing to the treasury.” (Mark 12: 43)

St. Christopher’s Habitat for Humanity The next St Christopher’s Habitat Day is Saturday 17 NOV. We will be working inside at 314 Little Kidwell in Centre-ville. This is the fun part, making progress toward looking like a real home. If you are

interested in helping another through good works, please contact Dick Moore, [email protected]. As Paul said to the Philippians “..the one who began a good work among you will bring it to completion by the day of Jesus Christ.” (meaning by Christ’s return) (Phil 1:6)

Haven Ministries During the month of November, we are reminded of our many blessings, as we also remember those who need our help. As part of National Hunger and Homelessness Awareness in Nov., we are

asking parishioners to donate supplies needed for the Winter Homeless Shelter through Haven Ministries. You can bring the items to put in the designated box in the white "House" marked for the shelter in the Church Hall through the month of Novem-ber. Items needed are: 8 oz small coffee cups, boxes of disposable plastic food gloves, tall 13 gal. trash bags, Lysol spray disin-fectant, Clorox wipes, Napkins, Tissue boxes, plastic ware, heavy Chinet plates, dessert plates, paper soup bowls, quart and gallon baggies, pillows, Men’s flannel PJ bottoms and thermal underwear - size L, XL, XXL, Women's PJ's and thermal un-derwear, size M, L, XL and $5 gift cards to Burger King, Hard-ees, McDonalds and Dunkin Donuts. By your generosity and compassion, we can together transform homelessness and begin to restore dignity to all our neighbors in need! Thank You!!

Feed a Family Thanks be to God for the generos-ity of St. Christopher's parishion-ers! 110 Family Turkey Tags were chosen, to be filled by you, for a local family.

Remember to bring your Food & Turkey on Wednesday, 11/14 or Thursday, 11/15 to the Old Kent Narrows Out-lets between 5-8pm.

Christian Meditation The Community for Christian Meditation Group invites you to participate with us dur-ing Advent, each Friday morning from 9:00-10:30.

After silent, still prayer, we will view and discuss Father Bar-ron's Pivotal Player's video lesson on St. Benedict. All are welcomed at the Parish Office prayer room. Any questions, please contact Bobbie Bell at 410 829 9834.
