It’s time again ... It is our special day again ... to present who we are ... to new parents and students ... and also, as students, to present our talents and gifts to our parents and relatives.

This year the theme of the Open Day focuses on “Learning about our country” and each Junior class will be presenting a locality in Malta. The “Juniors Tour of Localities” will in fact start in front of Ms. Sue’s office and parents and kids will be taken around the different places in Malta via a tour of the classes.

The Senior School will be holding exhibitions in their classes throughout the day and you are invited to roam around and watch the students and the teachers as they show you what life in the Senior School is like.

Also, they will be holding 2 formal presentations focused on the different sectors (Sen1,2 and then Sen 3,4,5) and you are all invited to attend.

Flutterby students will be entertaining us with a short show at 10:15 am and parents are invited to watch our little ones perform on stage!

School Tours for new parents/students will take place at 11 am and then at 2 pm. Ms. Sue Mifsud Midolo, Director of the Junior School, and Ms. Karen Galea, Director of the Flutterby Child Care Centre, will be leading these tours and interested parents are invited to join us. Registrations will also be taken on the day.

We will end the day with Mass at 3:30 pm.

Stalls, Food, Activities on the Day As is customary, our Open Day is also a Fun Day for students, parents, relatives and friends. As such, we will have the following Stalls and Activities which you should not miss:

- Food Stall by Luciano’s - in the Home Economics Room (2nd floor) (there will be burgers, nuggets and veg burgers and chips on sale here);

- the Canteen (1st floor) will be open for ice-creams, drinks and nibbles;

- Flutterby Choreography - parents and students are invited to join the Flutterby carers and learn how to dance some of the recent Maltese Eurovision Songs (choreography lessons will take place at 10:30 am, and at 12 pm in the Music Hall and then we will all watch the actual performance at 3 pm!). So students and parents, do come along to dance with us!!

- Flutterby Pizza and Pancake Stall (1st floor)- from 12:30 - 2:30 pm, our Flutterby staff will be selling pizza slices and savoury and sweet pancakes - yummy yummy for the tummy!

- Tarmac Grounds outside - we will have a Bouncy Castle, Face Painting, Popcorn, Bungy Rides, Go Karts, and make Believe Tattoos (it is important that no stiletto heels are to be worn on the newly done up rubber ground!);

- Merlin Library Stand - there will be books, science and art kits on sale amongst others;

- Animal Donation Stand - we will be collecting animal food tins and donations to help an organisation which takes care of stray animals .... you will also be able to see some cute kittens!

- Fire Dragon Performance - we will have 2 performers who will show us the marvels of taming fire - do come along for this 15 minute presentation by Alessandro at 1:15 pm in the Assembly Hall;

- Mass at 3:30 pm (Assembly Hall)- Fr. Frankie Cini will lead us in prayer during Mass so that we close the day thanking God for all we have;

- and then all the tours and exhibitions we have on the programme ... a fun-filled day for sure! Do come along for the day with us and bring a friend or a relative too!
