Dear brothers and sisters, "God is good all the time!" Updates: We added 8 am Mass on Sundays so that you can have more opportunity to at-tend Sunday Masses as a required obligation for us Catholics. Governor Brown and state health officials have additional statewide restrictions to reduce the transmission of COVID-19. This two-week “freeze” begun on Wednesday, Nov. 18 until December 2 and applies to

all faith communities in all counties in all phases. Faith gatherings must not exceed 25 people indoors. Be-cause of the spike in cases, Archbishop Sample will remain observant of the Governor’s new restrictions. Nevertheless, he is disappointed and frustrated with the requirements, especially because spread of the dis-ease has not been happening in Catholic churches. Continue to pray!

During November we are called in a special way to remember ''our brothers and sisters who have fallen asleep in the hope of the resurrection'' For sure we know and believe that if Christ died to save us when we were sinners, what will He not do for us now that we are His disciples! In the scriptural reading Jesus too tells us that He will raise up all who believe in Him. It is this eagerness of God to save us that makes Him give us a chance even after death to be purified of the stains of sin with which we might die. Let us then re-member the holy souls in purgatory and through our suffrages let us alleviate their suffering. For we believe that the souls in purgatory whom we see with our eyes of faith are in greater need of help and relief than the hungry and the thirsty on earth whom we see with our physical eyes. Let our faith lead us to works of chari-ty and prayer on their behalf. The month of November is a traditional time for visiting graves of loved ones, as is the anniversary of death.

“Let us return to the Eucharist with Joy!” We cannot live as Christians without participating in the Sacrifice of the Cross in which the Lord Jesus gives himself unreservedly to save, by his death, humanity which had died because of sin; the Redeemer associates humanity with himself and leads it back to the Father. The family of the Lord: we need to meet our brothers and sisters who share the sonship of God, the fraternity of Christ, we welcome you all back for the Eucharist at St. Boniface. United States Conference of Catholic Bishops

Face coverings are required for everyone to enter church. Persons under the age of 5 are not required but we would like them to wear a mask. Face shields are no longer recommended as a substitute for face coverings because they permit the aerosols to move around the shield. Persons who require an accommodation of exemption under federal or state law.

Why Sign Up~To insure a seat at Mass. Contact Kim by calling the parish office 503.769.5664 during office hours (you must talk to a person, do not leave a message) or Email boni-

[email protected] or text/call Kim’s cell phone @ 503-949-9621 for weekend & daily Masses. If you can not make it to Mass that you have signed up for, please let Kim know so she can contact those who were turned away. The state requires us to collect your contact information. Public Health may use your infor-mation to contact you if someone who visits the church tests positive for COVID-19. If we do not follow these rules we can be shut down.

Confessions on Saturday’s 5:30—6:30 pm. 25 people:Weekday Mass times: Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday & Friday 7 am. 25 people:Weekend Mass in church, 25 in Parish hall: Saturday 7pm, Sunday 8 am & 10 am.
