Squirrels and Otters Victorians Challenge Cafe

It was lovely to see relatives come and share in their child's learning. They read the book “The Grotlyn” by Benji Davies, then everyone enjoyed themselves making crafts linked to the story. There were some excellent things made by everyone which included a whirlygig and a hot air balloon. The children really enjoyed demonstrating their capabilities to the adults around. We look forward to welcoming families to the next one.

FOSA – FRIENDS OF ST. AUGUSTINE’S

Hi Everyone,

At the last meeting we spoke about the most important things that we should spend money on. The shed for FOSA to free up space in the school and to store our ‘stuff’ in and a microphone was the aim for the end of this year.

I am pleased to confirm that we have bought a Shure SM58 microphone with microphone stand and cable and hopefully everyone can see that in the KS1 lower playground that we have now also bought the shed.

I would like to say a ‘BIG’ thank you to Mr M. Steel from Taverham Garden Centre for giving us a very generous discount and free delivery on the Shed.

Also I would like to thank Jason Lee for building the required foundation and Jason, Jay and Joe for spending their Saturday morning putting it all together.
