Friends,
It is school time again. Unbelievably, the summer is about
over. Our school faculty meets this week and the following
week the children return. Things are looking great this year,
with increased enrollment and renewed enthusiasm to give
our test to the task ahead—forming well educated Christian
disciples of the Lord Jesus Christ. Please pray for our school,
staff and students.
Some other good news—we received a generous donation to
our parish, to defray the cost of the corner property on the
north end of the grotto grounds. This has been purchased
from the city, and Mr. David Brustkern has donated $19,500
for that purpose. This gives us the entire city block as a par-
ish asset—and a valuable one. Pray for our benefactors.
It bodes well for us as a parish to see generous responses
from our parishioners and benefactors. Another sign of the
vibrancy of our parish. Praise God!!!
Have a Blessed week.
