Open Before & After All Masses to Accept Donations
The parish Item of the Month is toothpaste.
May 27/28 & June 3/4: Father’s Day Mums for Sale
St. Anne's Council of Catholic Women will sell Father’s Day
Mums in the Commons Area before & after Masses
May 27/28 and June 3/4. If you would like to donate a mum
in honor of or in memory of your father, or other loved ones,
each mum is $5. Mums will be displayed on the altar on
Father's Day weekend, June 17/18. There will also be an
insert in the bulletin listing the donors & names submitted.
May 29: Knights of Columbus’ Memorial Day Mass
The Fourth Degree Knights of Columbus' Annual Memorial
Day Mass honoring those who died while serving our country
will be celebrated Mon., May 29 at 11 a.m. at Andersonville
National Historic Site in Andersonville, Ga. A free hot dog &
hamburger picnic lunch will be served following Mass,
weather permitting. Consider bringing a salad, side dish or
dessert to share. Dress is casual. Should it rain, Mass will be
celebrated at St. Mary’s Church in Americus, Ga.
June 13: Charismatic Healing Service
St. Anne Church’s Family Prayer Mission Ministry will host a
Charismatic Healing Service with Mass and Adoration at
St. Anne Church on Tue., June 13 from 2 until 7 p.m.
The service will be led by an evangelist, Fr. Dominic
Valanmanal from India, who is gifted in deliverance and
healing. There will be anointing prayer and laying of hands on
the sick. The service will be followed by a light supper.

June 19-23: Vacation Bible School
Have you registered your child for Vacation Bible School
(VBS) at St. Anne Church? VBS will take place in Visitation
Hall June 19-23 from 9 a.m. to Noon each day. Children ages
Pre-K4 through 5th grade who are Catholic or interested in
the Catholic faith are invited to participate. This year’s VBS
theme is Tracking Mary. During VBS, students will discover
how Mary brings us closer to Jesus through the power of the
Rosary. Youth in grades 6-12 and adult volunteers are
needed to help make VBS a success. Register your child for
VBS and/or sign up to volunteer at stannecsg.com/vbs.
The registration deadline is June 5 or when the maximum
capacity of 100 participants is reached.
June 25: BINGO
Bring the family for an afternoon of fun, fellowship and a
friendly game of BINGO on Sun., June 25 at 2 p.m. in
St. Anne Church’s Visitation Hall! Please bring a $5-$10 door
prize which will be worth three Bingo cards. Light
refreshments will be provided; you are welcome to bring your
own, too!
June 25: Baptism Class
Parents interested in having their child baptized at St. Anne
Church must attend a Baptism Class. Our next class is Sun.,
June 25 in the Youth Room at 11:30 a.m. Registration
required; register online at stannecsg.com/sacraments.

“For it is better to suffer for doing good, if that be God’s
will, than for doing evil.” 1 PETER 3:17
The old line says “if you want to make God laugh, tell Him
your plans.” Many of us are diligent in our planning,
making sure things are progressing smoothly, then
disaster strikes, we don’t get the result that was intended.
An unforeseen problem arises. Many times we may
respond negatively. Why me? I did everything right!
Here’s the thing – God has a different and better plan in
store for you.

At the time of publication, these numbers had not yet been
updated by the Diocesan BAA Office.
Please support this year’s Bishop’s Annual Appeal to help
provide education and formation of our seminarians, to
assist in charity to the poor and to educate our children
and grandchildren in the faith. Contribution envelopes are
available in the Commons Area of the church, or donations

Pre-K4 Luau for Prospective Families
Parents of prospective Pre-K4 students and their children
are invited to drop in for a Pre-K4 Luau at St. Anne-Pacelli
Catholic School on Tue., May 23 between 9:30 and
11:30 a.m. The St. Anne-Pacelli Pre-K4 program is
designed to prepare children for success in Kindergarten
and beyond. The school day consists of activities and
lessons to develop social, personal, and academic skills.
Curriculum includes Language Arts, Mathematics, Religion,
Social Studies, and Science. Our Pre-K4 Luau is an
opportunity for prospective families to meet teachers, get a
glimpse of classrooms and experience the benefits of a

Our Religious Education programs teach scripture,
doctrines, beliefs and traditions of the Catholic Church. We
offer classes September through May to children ages
Pre-K through 8th grades from 9:15 to 10:15 a.m. Our
program has a number of 2017-18 openings for people
who wish to share their Catholic faith with children. Please
