It wasn’t my first time going to Singapore, I went there 2 years ago with my family. But it was my first time travellin

friends so I was excited. I arrived at NAIA Terminal 3 an hour early before the assembly time. Good thing my blockm

were there already when I got there. We ate breakfast at McDonald’s first while waiting for the rest of our blockmat

arrive.

4 AM. We went to the assembly area, which is Gate 3. We settled some

and payments first before checking-in. While lining up for check-in, som

caught our attention. There was a girl standee – maybe a flight attenda

holding a Miriam College sign which was really cool. We took lots of pic

with the standee because it was something worth remembering.

I was really looking forward to this trip because it was my first time fly

Singapore Airlines, which is one of the best airlines in the world. Althou

were not seating with our friends because our seats were pre-assigned.

Billie Jean Banel was my seatmate during the flight. She’s been my classmate for 2 or 3 semesters already but we never spo

other because there was no opportunity which was given by the situation. I got to know her better because of this but not so

since she slept almost the whole flight.

I got really excited flying with Singapore Airlines so I didn’t sleep for the whole flight. I even got more excited when they hav

Intern, which is starred by Anne Hathaway and Robert De Niro, on their movie list because I haven’t watch it yet.

The movie got me teary-eyed during the flight until breakfast was served! I forgot to take a picture of it but from what I rem

ordered pork with rice. After eating, I continued watching and little did I know we were near Singapore already.

Upon arrival, we got our luggages and followed Sir Jaypee, the one who organized

tour. Since Dr. Boquiren asked us to have a buddy for the entire study tour, my bu

roommate for the whole trip was Eipril Vigilla. She is one of my close friends in Co

I know we’ll have so much fun together. Meanwhile, the tour guide arrived to fetch

bring us to our next destination which is the company visit in Hewlett-Packard.

As I recall, we were an hour or two late for our company visit. Good thing Hew

Packard still warmly welcomed us. While we were going inside HP, their walls rea

caught my attention. It was very colorful and full of inspiring words. When we w

inside the seminar room, I loved the ambience. Maybe it was because of the col

wall – Mint Green, since it was one of my favorite colors. My Buddy and Roommate for thetrip, Eipril

The whole company visit was enlightening and inspiring. I got to learn what HP r

and what were their previous campaigns. I really like their strategy which is maki

page different or EPID. They connect with their consumers, bringing the printing

new level of experience.

After the talk, we had a tour around HP and got to see some of their works. The printers that they showed us was huge but

texture and quality of the print was very impressive. We even got personalized notebooks from them which was really cool s

Lisa, the APJ Commercial Business Development Manager of HP, said that it was unique and no one has the same print.

After the company visit, our block had a little fun outside HP...

We continued with the City Tour after the company visit. First stop, Merlion Park.

Next Stop, was the Singapore Flyer.

After Singapore Flyer, we went to Chinatown.

Chinatown is like the same as Divisoria in the Philippines

because it was very crowded. My friends and I roamed around

Chinatown but our group was divided into 2 because it was

really crowded and hard to go back and forth in some parts. I

decided not to eat there since I packed lots of cup noodles andsaving my money for shopping.

We arrived at the hotel at 9 PM and I was really exhausted from the company visit and city tour. When Eipril and I got to ou

room, our key didn’t work so we had to come back down to the lobby, it was okay since our room was just on the 2nd floor. W

finally got inside our room, we first, settled our things. The the size of the room was small but just right for the 2 of us. Ther

TV, double bed, and a kettle – which was the first thing I checked since I brought so many cup noodles. The CR was very sm

whereas you can take a shower while pooping. This didn’t really matter for me since I went to Singapore for Singapore and nhotel. Although one of my concerns was that there was no bidet in the CR and we didn’t bring anything that we can used as

but we found a way. After taking a shower, I feel asleep in mere seconds after laying on the bed.

It’s 5 AM and Eipril is still sleeping. I took a shower and woke her up as soon as I finished showering. By 6 AM we check

cafeteria and found out it was just near our room which is an advantage for us. I had bacon and eggs with hashbrown. I was

satisfied with the breakfast because they don’t have rice.

We went to the lobby at exactly 8 AM and walked going to The Verge for our

Seminar and Workshop.

When we got to The Verge, we went up to the Singapore Human Resource

Institute and saw Mr. Adrian Wong, the trainer, waiting for us. As soon as we

arrived, the training began.

For our lunch break, we went to Little India’s Hawker Centre. The place wasn’tinviting to eat at, maybe because of the heat and the smell of the surroundings. I

only ate Roti Prata – crepe-like because of its thin layer of dough.

After eating, we went back to The Verge for the PM Session. My overall, the

seminar was very refreshing since we just took up Human Resource Management

last semester.

The day didn’t end there. After the training, we went to Marina Bay Sands

for our free time and the Wonder Full Show. Our block just roamed around

the mall for an hour and then ate dinner

at the food court. We went back to MBS

Plaza for the Wonder Full Show at

exactly 8 PM but it got moved to 9 PM

because it rained so we had more free

time to take more pictures but we just

stayed at the 4th floor to chill for a

while.

As soon as we received Sir Jaypee’s

viber message at around 9:20 PM that

the Wonder Full Show is about to start,

we went there as fast as we can.

The Wonder Full Show was amazing. The story it told and how it

was told was really great but what I loved from the entire show was the

song, What A Wonderful World. After the Wonder Full Show, we went back to the hotel.
