SSRS User Guide

This is Liheap’s user guide designed in a step-by- step process to assist in the users increasing their

knowledge in the basic usage of the SSRS reports application. The first question is how do I get access

to SSRS reports. This is the easy part, you just select “Reports” from the Wecome menu dropdown

tabs.

Report tab takes you to the

SRSS reports. Single-click on

the reports dropdown.

There are two basic groupings the first is “OEA Restricted Report” which is only seen by OEA users.

The second grouping is “Available Report”, which is seen by OEA and LAA users. The reports are

further breakout into folders by topics to assist the users in locating the report with the information

desired.

Where the Liheap SSRS reports are located.

Reports are further grouped under each

organizational folder and the drop down

will expand to reveal the reports located

in that folder.

To access the reports just select and click

the folder titles and the folder will expand

and reveal the reports.

Report level selection OEA users must select the agency level before opening an individual report. This

is done so that the application can set up the reports to the agency or statewide level to display the

desired information.

This is an example of the export popup window when you select the report definition icon.

To find the definition for a

given report select the

export icon located after

the report name. You get

the export wizard where

you decide if you want

save/open.

When OEA users update the Agency dropdown the report page side update and clear old information

insuring only specific requested data is displayed. The default for the Agency dropdown for OEA users

is “All” (Statewide) and will need to be updated to a specific agency prior to going any further.

OEA users must make a

selection from the Agency

dropdown. “All “will give

statewide totals or by

selecting an individual

agency you should only

return that agency’s data

To open reports click on

the magnifying glass and

the report will open to the

right.

If the report doesn’t have

any parameters it will

open and be displayed as

the with the LOF report.

If the report has required

parameters it will open

and be displayed as the

with the Application Entry

Count report.

Notice all parameters are filled

in with the desired information

specifications.

Now it’s time to run the report.

Single-click the “View Report”

button and SRSS should

generate the desired report.

Paging and exporting/printing the generated report.

Paging allows users to surf

between the reports pages

Select the “Open” or “Save” button. The Open button will open the report in the selected format. The

Save button will open a save wizard so you can select the destination of set the name of the report

file.
