Do not ask for your grade during class. I will gladly discuss grades during tutorials.

General Assignment Information Make up work please refer to the student handbook for district and school procedures. When you are gone, please refer to the calendar on the board for what we did while you

were out. Any handouts will be in the bin in the front of the room. It is solely YOUR responsibility to get your make-up assignments. I will NOT remind you. No

Excuses Modern day my dog ate my homework – If you are assigned an assignment to be typed and

turned in, I will not accept the excuse that my computer/printer crashed. You need to make back ups of your back ups. When I type a paper, I print after each page I finish. Therefore, you at least have a rough draft for some sort of credit if your computer does the unthinkable.

You may also email it to me as an attachment, or (GASP) hand-write it and turn it in the next day.

The bottom line is, it can be done.

EmergenciesI fully understand that family emergencies happen. Just advise me about your situation with as much advance notice as possible and your resulting plan of action. - Parent ContactI will contact your parents/guardians when and if your grade starts to fall below 70 percent…especially prior to mid-term and nine week grade reports.I want each of you to succeed!
