Placement events for 2018-19

1. Training for final year students by Seventh Sense, Bangalore.

Placement training of Phase 1 for 10 days was conducted on 21st August to 30

th August 2018

for the final year students (2019 Batch) by Seventh Sense, Bangalore.

Following are the topics conducted in the training.

1. Aptitude 4. Mock Interviews

2. Analytical skills 5. Soft skills.

3. Resume Writing

Phase 2 training will be conducted for the same batch of students in the second week of

February 2019.

Campus Drive at SGBIT from August 2018 till Date.

1. ABC for Technologies, Bangalore campus drive was conducted on 17th

& 18th

August

2018 for circuit branches.

2. Tessolve Semiconductor Pvt Ltd pool drive was conducted on 5th

& 6th October 2018

for circuit branches. Colleges from Belgaum Gadag, Nidasoshi, Lakshmeshwar,

Varur, Haliyal, Chikkodi, Bijapur, participated in the drive.

3. Amphisoft , Bangalore pool drive was conducted on 13th

October 2018 for circuit

branches and Mechanical department. Manjunath from ECE department got selected.

4. Tech Fortune Technologies, Bangalore campus drive was conducted on 25th

October

2018 for circuit branches.6 Students got selected.

5. Codilar Technology, Bangalore pool drive was conducted on 24th November 2018 for circuit

branches. MMEC, Belagavi & VDIT Haliyal were pooled for the drive. 3 Students from SGBIT,

2 from VDIT, Haliyal and 1 from MMEC, Belagavi got selected and 3 students of SGBIT are

kept on hold.

6. Team Lease, Bangalore conducted the drive at SGBIT on 9th Feb 2019 for circuit branches.

Pre-Placement talk was given by the HR Ms. Megha and Ms. Rejoice. 140 students from

circuit branches participated in the drive and 26 students were selected in the campus

recruitment. The process involved aptitude test, GD, JAM and the HR interview.

7. Unikaihatsu Campus drive conducted on 14 March 2019 at SGBIT for the circuit branch

students 51 students participated in the drive. Ms Dipal Zaveri [HR] Conducted the aptitude

followed by SKYPE Technical and HR round with the VP

8. Elcamino Softwares Bangalore conducted the drive at SGBIT on 1st April for all

branches. Pre-Placement talk was given by the HR Mr. Bharat. 68 students s

participated in the drive and 18 students were selected in the campus recruitment. The

process involved Essay Writing, GD, and the HR interview.

9. GlobalEdge Software conducted the pool driveat SGBIT on 11th

& 12th of April 2019

for EE & CS branches. MMEC Belagavi, Shaikh Belagavi, GIT Belagavi, Angadi

College Belagavi and Thontdarya College Gadag participated in the drive.
