SSEKO’S IMPACT IN EAST AFRICASSEKO SANDALS, STRAPS AND ACCESSORIES:Sseko sandals are handmade by women in Uganda. Part of this workforce includes University bound women who are earning money towards their univer-sity tuition through employment at Sseko.

• Sseko provides each University bound student with a scholarship grant that matches 100% of their sav-ings upon graduation from Sseko.

• Sseko employees have access to our social impact programs which include 100% health care cover-age, health and wellness programs, career mentor-ing and personal finance training.

TOTES & CLUTCHES: These products are produced in Kenya by artisans who earn a fair wage. They are hand crafted and created with material sourced from Kenya and support the lo-cal industry leather and textile industry.

SSEKO SCARVES:Sseko scarves are produced in Ethiopia by artisans who earn a fair wage. Our scarves are made with locally produced Eri silk and Ethiopian cotton. All of our scarves are hand woven on traditional looms.

HOBO BAGS:Our Hobo bags are made in Ethiopia by artisans who earn a fair wage. Our partner organization employs 29 women and subsidizes education for female employees. The Hobo bags are made using locally sourced Ethio-pian leather.
