Regal Cage Arrangements may be made with any style Regal Cage.

Regal Cages are meticulouslyengineered and crafted with design features you won’t �ndanywhere else. Yet, it’s our doors that really set our cagesapart. Made entirely of stainless steel, the frame,crossmembers and vertical spokes are welded together atevery intersection for exceptional structural integrity andstrength. Our cage door mounts on the front of the cage,�tting close along the top and sides and overlapping thebottom of the cage opening to keep the animal’s paws frombecoming trapped between the door and the cage. Thisdistinctive design also prevents paper liners from slipping outunder the door. Take a look at our latch and hinges. They’re the strongestavailable, made from heavy 12-gauge stainless steel. Extra-strong barrel-style hinges surround the hinge pins to keep thedoors �tting right and swinging smoothly for years to come.The self-latching door latch positively secures the door at twopoints without creating crevices for debris to hide. Latchdisassembles easily for adjustment and cleaning. Our cagedoors are ambidextrous and are shipped with doors hingedleft but may be easily changed to be hinged right if desiredwithout additional parts.

Our cages begin with a 22-gauge Type 304 stainless steelbody, seam-welded into one piece to create the strongestcage on the market. The cage interior features .75-in.(1.90cm) radius side and back bends with coved backcorners to eliminate any areas that could harbor dirt and�uids, making our cages easy to clean and disinfect. What’smore, the �oors of all of our cages have a �uid-retaining lipat the front edge to help keep urine and �uids from seeping out.

All Regal Cages can be used alone or readily assembledtogether to form the perfect cage arrangement for yourfacility. All installation hardware is included for yourindividual arrangement. Better yet, Regal Cage arrangementscan easily be added to or rearranged at any time.

Make your cages more versatile with our stainless steel Shelves. Shelvesare available for cages up to 36 in. wide. Shelves can be used to makeroom for multiple animals in one cage, or simply make cats morecomfortable by allowing them to climb and rest higher than the �oor.Cages can be purchased with factory-installed shelves or shelves can bepurchased separately for installation by customer on new or existingcages. Shelves are mechanically-fastened thru the sides of the cage forstability. This prevents the shelf from ever tipping out of position. SeeRegal cage Finishing Accessories. The beauty of our Regal Cagesis that the arrangement possibilities are endless. Regalcages are available in more sizes than other cages, moresizes allow you to create ideal cage arrangement(s) foryour facility. Regal cages are also available in varioustypes, standard, full-view back, front and back door,and heated, to fulfill the requirements for various areasin your facility. Some types of Regal cages can becombined in the same cage arrangement(s) for moreflexibility. Better yet, if your needs or available spacechange, the arrangement can be added to or rearrangedto fit the new requirements.

You can even reverse the doors to open the other way if you find it wouldwork better for your needs. And when you add some of our finishingaccessories shown on the following pages, you’ll find that Regal Cages are notonly the best, but the most versatile you can buy.

Each cage arrangement includes vertical molding strips and bolt-on cornerplates made of heavy 14-gauge stainless steel designed to give the entirearrangement structural integrity with a finished appearance. The lower edgeof the front of each cage overlaps the top of the cage below or the mountingbase to insure that no liquids seep between the cages.

Cages may be mounted on a SSCI stainless steel Base with or without casters, or on your wooden or concrete platform.

A variety of Cage Arrangements are shown on the following pages. But, if youdon’t see an Arrangement that’s ideal for your facility, we will work with youto create the perfect arrangement of cage styles and sizes for your needs.

Measure your space. Obtain overall width, height and depth of the availablespace in your facility where you plan to place your RegalCage Arrangement. To allow for the cage, the minimumdepth of the area must be 29-in. (73.66cm) plusthewidth of the widest cage door in the arrangement. Thiswill allow cage doors to open fully. Make sure you havesu�cient space in front of the cage arrangement foryour sta� to handle patients safely.

Choose the style of the Regal Cages in yourArrangement.Our Regal Cage styles give four options.

Identify the Regal Cage sizes you require.A variety of sizes can be used in a single Arrangement, aslong as the overall width and height of each tier is thesame. An idea of the size of animals you will house inyour Cages will help you select the sizes you need.

Determine how your Cages will bearranged.Some Regal Cage Arrangements are shown on thefollowing pages. If you don’t see an Arrangement thatwill work for you, call us with your space measurements,and we will help you design a Regal Cage Arrangementthat will include the largest cages for the total number ofanimals you wish to accommodate.

Regal Cage Arrangements should be set upon a base. Optional SSCI Stainless Steel Base:

(add casters to create a mobile base).

Customer-Supplied Bases:Wood Platform Bases should be constructed level front toback and right to left of 2x4s measuring the width of yourArrangement and 29-in. (73.66cm) front to back. Trowel-�nished Concrete Pad should be poured level 3.5-in. (8.90cm) high and 29-in. (73.66cm) front to back.

5SSCI creates an Approval Drawing for each cage arrangement ordered. These detaileddrawings of your cage arrangement list cage sizes, quantities and all appropriatehardware and illustrate how the arrangement is to be assembled. If you choose toalter the positions of the cages in the arrangement, contact your SSCI representative,so that a new approval drawing can be created. The new arrangement might requiredi�erent hardware. If the cage positions are changed after the the drawings areapproved and the cages and hardware have been shipped, you will be required topurchase additional hardware to assemble your arrangement.In addition to other customer requirements, the Final Approval Drawings must besigned and received by SSCI prior to the beginning of manufacturing lead time.

Our team of experienceddesigners will work with yourmeasurements, cage style andsize and budget to create theperfect Cage Arrangement foryour requirements.

SSCI's Design Service is o�ered to customers after discussingand agreeing on a viable project with an SSCI Representative.After a methodical review of the customer's needs for theirfacility, the SSCI Representative will present the project to oursta� of designers to create a set of approval drawings. Thedrawings ensure that SSCI will supply exactly what the customer

has discussed with the SSCI Representative. Once the customer hascommitted to purchase from SSCI and, if the drawings requirerevisions, the Final Approval Drawings will be created and presentedto the customer for their approval. Other Customer Requirementsmay be required before manufacturing time can begin.

We preassemble a select number ofHeated Regal Cage arrangements that can be shipped and movedinto most facilities. These arrangements include a full-width top-mounted control panel with a temperature controller for each cagein the arrangement. the pre-wired and pre-assembled arrangementplugs into a 120V AC facility wall outlet for electric power. Eachcage’s floor temperature is regulated by a dedicated adjustabletemperature controller that displays the cage’s floor temperature.

Preassembled Heated Arrangement’s are only sold with StainlessSteel, Top and End Panel, Finishing Accessories to protect the wiring and for a finished appearance. TheArrangements are either mounted on a stainless steel base orMobile stainless steel base, unitizing the arrangement for shipping.

Make your cages more versatile with our stainless steel RestingShelves. Shelf can be used to make room for multiple animalsin one cage, or simply to make cats more comfortable byallowing them to climb and rest higher than the floor. Shelves,factory-installed, are available when ordering new cages, orshelves may be ordered separately for customer installationin new or existing cages. Shelves are mechanically-fastenedthru the sides of the cage for stability. This prevents the shelffrom ever tipping out of position. Existing arrangements mustbe disassembled to install shelves. Two types of shelves areavailable: straight and corner. Straight shelves are positioned1.250-in. Regal Transport Cage

Versatile Transport Regal Cages can be used to move animalsfrom their cages to surgery, transfer boarders from thewaiting room to the kennel, temporarily hold patients beforetreatment. These solid stainless steel cages start with the same ruggedconstruction as our standard Regal Cages. Then we add astainless steel frame with full-width rails and crossmembersfor rigidity. Casters have threaded stem that thread into theframe, securing them so they will not wobble or fall out.Swivel bearing and axle have grease fittings. 5-in.(12.70cm) diameter wheels allow for easy movement

throughout your facility. Two casters have wheel brakes for safety. Stainless steel Top,Ends and Back Finishing Panels give the cage a finishedappearance. Regal Intensive Care UnitOur Intensive Care Unit has been uniquely engineered to provide atemperature and oxygen controlled environment to care for yourmost seriously ill patients. This versatile unit can accommodate onelarge animal or provide an intensive care environment for two smallerpatients simultaneously. The unit controls temperature in two ways: by controlling airtemperature and by warming the floor with two separate floorheaters. Continually recirculating air flow can be electrically warmed ifnecessary, or cooled and humidity-controlled with the built-inrefrigeration condensing unit. Electric floor heaters have individualthermostats to help maintain the patient’s body temperature duringrecovery from surgery or other treatments. To ensure your patients arecomfortable, a built-in thermometer/hygrometer monitors thetemperature and humidity inside the unit. A display window on thecontrol panel lets you check the temperature and humidity quicklyand easily. To control air levels, filtered air or oxygen-enriched air from apressure-regulated oxygen supply can be recirculated throughout thecompartment as often as every 30 seconds. The oxygen concentrationlevel and flow volume are accurately controlled, continuouslymonitored and displayed on the control panel. An audible alarm alerts

Solid stainless steel Cat Cage Racks are designed too�er you quick set-up and easy cage access alongwith the ability to move the cages where you needthem in your facility. Sturdy full-length runners frontand back and welded stainless steel channelsbetween each cage hold cages securely in place onthe rack. All frame joints are butted and welded forstrength, then all welds are smoothed to be free ofcrevices. The rack rolls easily on nickel-plated SwivelCasters with 5-in. diameter (12.70cm) wheels toallow you to move the entire bank of cages whenneeded. Two swivel casters have brakes for safety.
