RESTAURANTS AND BAROysters, champagne, Menno’s homemade bread, bouillabaisse, or perhaps just a simple croquette roll and a glass of milk. Join us onboard for your culinary voyage of discovery.

LIDOHere in what used to be ‘Café de la Paix’ we serve breakfast, lunch and dinner. And of course you are most welcome to have a cup of coffee or drinks. It is all possible at the same time which means a lively atmosphere is guaranteed. Lido is boasting a wonderful outer deck terrace, in fact the best in Rotterdam. Relax in one of the deck chairs and marvel at the city’s skyline for inspiration. Submerge your feet into the swimming pool.

CLUB ROOMThe Club Room was lovingly referred to as the ship’s drawing room. Today it is dedicated to serving tasty dinners. While top chefs make sure to bring you culinary tours de force, you get to marvel at the ship’s grandeur including the original masterpieces decorating the walls. For a stylish dinner, we recommend the Club Room.

OCEAN BARThis is the bar onboard ss Rotterdam. The authentic wave-shaped bar and gigantic fish scales decorating the ceiling never stopped impressing guests. Here, the cruising years make themselves clearly felt. Enjoy a delicious cocktail, a good glass of wine or brandy.

The ship is a voyage of discovery with many interesting tales to tell. The authentic setting, exceptional master-pieces and typical fi fties style revive the minute you join us onboard. The hotel has 254 rooms representing three different themes. The ship’s original huts have been transformed into state-of-the-art hotel rooms. You can spend the night, have dinner, organise meetings, conferences or enjoy unforgettable parties.

TOURS DURING YOUR EVENTMarvel at the authentic rooms. Visit the pilothouse or the impressive engine room. Several tours exist. Usually they make a welcome break during events. On request we can provide a private and professional guide.

PARKINGOur guests may leave their vehicles at the paid car park next to the ship.

The car park can take up to 580 cars. Parking ticket is € 3 per hour or you can have the day’s ticket (24 hours) at € 15.

SHOPSShops onboard provide a charming selection maritime gifts, books, clothing items and merchandise showing the original ss Rotterdam logo.

To visit the engine room or Boat Deck, you may book a tour and explore ss Rotterdam. Discover the ship’s many authentic elements and listen to the ship hosts’ stories and lovely anecdotes.

CATERING & EVENTS

Explore the ship’s endless possibilities for having a successful event. Hosting no fewer than 14 different authentic rooms and 16 meeting rooms, each room having its own tale to tell, ss Rotterdam is a perfect choice whatever the occasion may be. Business or pleasure, ten or perhaps more than 3000 guests, you may count on us to meet all requirements.

ss Rotterdam offers some 5,000 m2 of floor area for all occasions. Maximal capacity for one event onboard is in fact 3,500 guests. The ship is also home to the magnificent Grand Ballroom overlooking Rotterdam’s skyline, the Sky Room and the authentic and what used to be the dining rooms Odyssee Room and La Fontaine Room. Also, the ship has a theatre that can seat up to 500 guests.

The ship offers interesting all-in packages. Prices mentioned are per person and in general they are charged for > 10 groups (meetings) and > 50 groups (all other arrangements). INSPIRING MEETINGSYou can count on ss Rotterdam to make sure you have an undisrupted, perfectly arranged and successful meeting in an exceptional yet contemporary ambiance. The Main Deck has 12 modern meeting rooms suitable for 10 up to 50 invitees. Each meeting room comes with a 46 inch plasma screen, laptop and fl ipchart.

CRUISE INSPIRATION, STARTING AT € 59.50Our all-in arrangements include unlimited tea and coffee, soft drinks, fruit, morning and/or afternoon snacks and a tasty lunch with freshly filled sandwiches, soup, hot snacks, (butter)milk, tea and coffee. Usually lunch is served in one of the ship’s stylish rooms. Half-day arrangements start at € 23.50 per person.

DAY & NIGHT, STARTING AT € 199.50An alternative to the above “Cruise Inspiration” arrangement is the 24 hour “Day & Night” meeting package. Meetings can be paused for lunch and dinner, and guests can spend the night and have breakfast on the following morning. Alternatively, the event can be held from 14.00 on the first day to the same time on the next day. You will spend the night in a standard room and have breakfast in Lido. On request you may book a guided tour of the ship (at extra cost). Additional costs will be charged for room upgrade.

This arrangement comes with writing pads, pens and other meeting facilities.

EXCLUSIVE OVERNIGHT CRUISE, STARTING AT € 219.50The above “Exclusive Cruise” arrangement can be exchanged for a 24 hour meeting package. Meetings can be paused for lunch and dinner, and guests can spend the night and have breakfast on the following morning. Alternatively, the event can be held from 14.00 on the first day to 14.00 on the following day. You will spend the night in a luxurious room and enjoy breakfast in Lido. On request you can book a guided tour of the ship (at extra cost).

BUSINESS CRUISE BRUNCH, STARTING AT € 52.50 PER PERSONThe 3 hour Business Cruise Brunch package is perfect if you wish to invite clients to a stylish and efficient get-together. Guests are offered generous hot and cold buffets and a dessert buffet.

HIGH TEA, STARTING AT € 39.50 PER PERSONDuring 2.5 hours we will indulge your guests with English High Tea, served in three sessions as is customary at traditional English restaurants. Old glory revives. Today ss Rotterdam continues to offer guests sparkling dinner parties. You will be seated at large round tables that used to welcome the jet set of the world. Over a glass of champagne, our captain will bid you a musical welcome

Enjoy the exquisite four-course dinner during your ‘mini cruise’ to New York, South America and back to the safe port of Rotterdam. While back in the fifties people would spend days feeling excited about who would get to sit next to the captain, with this culinary entertainment show our captain and crew will make sure you feel comfortable with us in no time. Onboard the Grande Dame and during this Captain’s Dinner Show, you will experience the glamorous and authentic atmosphere of yesteryear.

A wonderful six-man orchestra (Gin Fizz) will pleasantly accompany your dinner, inviting you to a dance. During the Captain’s Dinner Show guests will be entertained by no fewer than six artists, a cocktail show with lots of singing, dance and magical revelations.

EMBARKATION TICKETS Embarkation tickets are used for careful preadmission security checks during private events. These tickets provide specific details including parking options, starting time and the room booked for the occasion. Also, your company logo will be printed on this document. Tickets are put inside a sleeve on which you will find information on ss Rotterdam and a route description. And of course you may use this item to save any other information you might have on you. This tiny yet eye-catching detail means more people will attend your event for sure.

INVITATIONS USING E-MAIL AND YOUR OWN WEBSITE On request we can help you organise your invitations. Our E-Visit software offers you your own website, a database module which you may use to invite guests by e-mail or regular post, and a response module on the basis of which you can find out how many people are interested in your event. Let us have a list of your guests and their e-mail addresses and we will be happy to invite them on your behalf.

Invitees can sign up using a link to an Internet site with your corporate style. The same link is used to send guests a confirmation mail and a digital embarkation ticket.

HOSTESSESWe can provide experienced hostesses to welcome and guide your guests, for registration and general support during your event.

AUDIOVISUAL FACILITIESss Rotterdam Catering & Events has its own professional organization that will provide the audiovisual tools you need. Also, most rooms come with state-of-the-art visual, sound and light facilities. Our specialists onboard will be pleased to discuss options.
