SS GT F ERROL D. B ELL NCOIC ADMINISTRATION SSgt Ferrol D. Bell entered the Air Force from Houston, Texas and attended Air Force Basic Military Training in November 2009. Upon successful completion of Basic Military Training at Lackland AFB, Texas and Information Technology Fundamentals Basic Course at Keesler AFB, Mississippi SSgt Bell was assigned to Peterson AFB, Colorado. While at Peterson he served in Knowledge Operations at the Squadron, Group and Wing level. Additionally, SSgt Bell served 6 months as Honor Guard Team Leader for Peterson AFB, performing multiple funerals, ceremonies and other special events in Colorado and surrounding areas. In 2010 he was deployed to Kandahar Air Field, Afghanistan to serve as Knowledge Operator for the 451st Air Expeditionary Wing. As the Detachment 840 NCOIC of Administration, he is responsible for ensuring all cadet administrative actions to include cadet pay and travel, Field Training attendance, security and medical clearances, commissioning certifications, and Honor Guard liaison. Additionally, SSgt Bell provides valuable NCO perspective to future Air Force officers through instruction and mentoring during Leadership Laboratory and Aerospace Studies Courses. ASSIGNMENTS: 1.
