174) OM SRI SAI ISHTAPOORTHA SHATAIRLABHDHAAYA NAMAH

[Meaning: - Salutations to Lord Sai Maharaj in whom faith is rooted only as a result of performing hundreds of good deeds]

It is said in our scriptures that, one can easily obtain the “God’s Grace” but to obtain a “Guru” or “Guru’s Grace”, we require“God’s Grace”. Wonderful and meaningful is this dictum from our scriptures! To obtain Guru’s grace (as said by Lord Siva toMother Parvati), one has to incessantly practice the austerity of speaking truth, never drift away from the path ofrighteousness, never comment or criticize other or hurt the feeling of others (knowingly or unknowingly), always abstain fromthose or the company of people who drag one away from the path of righteousness, never put up an external show of beingspiritual or behave as a God fearing one but internally craving for fame and name, shun one’s ego and pride at the Lord’s Feetand earnestly pray for the grace of Guru . If one follows these basic tenets of dharma (Sishya dharma), he would certainly bepurified externally and internally (baahyaantarah shuchi) and start walking steadily in the path perfect.

Lord Siva further stresses on the point that if one follows all these basics principles assiduously, the Lord’s Grace Dawns onone such. The moment, one gets the Lord’s blessings, he immediately becomes the recipient of the infallible, immeasurable,endless grace of the “SUPREME POWER- GURU SAMARTHA”.

The author of the Sai Sahasranama has very beautifully explained in this naamavali- “Ishtapurtha shatairlabdah”- whose gracegets firmed rooted in us because of our (i.e. devotee’s) hundreds of good deeds. Here, he carefully hints that good deedsdoesn’t just mean alms or charity or doing an external worship in a grand manner but carefully follow the path of Sanmarga bycontinuously (i.e. here in this verse, the continuity is equated with hundred and not to be considered a mere number but acontinuous process) practicing the Sishya Dharma.

1. Chief Architect of Param Super Computer visit to Shirdi – Shri Sai Baba Sansthan Trust (Shirdi).

Chief Architect of Param Super Computer Dr.Vijay Bhatkar expressed that SAITECH project activity with Smart OperatingSystem initiated by the IT & Technology Department of Shri Sai Baba Sansthan Trust, Shirdi to provide various online servicesto the devotees will surely be a beacon to all the other temples in the Country.

Dr Vijay Bhatkar who is known as “Father of Param Super Computer” visited IT & Technology Department of Shri SaiBaba Sansthan Trust, Shirdi on Wednesday, 30th September 2015. After he took darshan of Shri Sai Baba’s Samadhi, theExecutive Officer Shri Bajirao Shinde felicitated Shri.Bhatkar at the Samadhi Mandir on behalf of Shri Sai Baba Sansthan. IT &Technology Department Head Shri.Kishor Gawli , Shri.Anil Shinde along with Cognizant Staff members briefed Shri.Bhatkarand provided all the information about the Operating System that is in place in the Department.




Speaking on the occasion, Shri.Bhatkar said “I feel very happy while seeing the smart operating system and server room. Through various Online Services provided through this Project, Sai Devotees around the Globe can plan activity at theirconvenience thereby precious time is saved for both devotees & Administrative Department of Sansthan. In this project,Online Services and other activities are being successfully carried out till today. As on date 40,50,264 devotees have benefittedwith Online Services. This is a typical and perfect example of providing better services being provided to devotees by usingModern Technology and keeping the temple environment lively. 2. Mylan Company donates Ambulance worth Rupees Twelve Lakh to Shri Sai Baba Sansthan Trust (Shirdi) - ShriSai Baba Sansthan Trust (Shirdi).

Mylan Company donated an Ambulance worth Rs.12,00,000/- (Rupees Twelve Lakh only) to Shri Sai Baba Sansthan Trust(Shirdi) on Monday, 28th September 2015. The President of Mylan Shri.Mallik handed over the keys of the vehicle to theExecutive Officer of Shri Sai Baba Sansthan Trust (Shirdi) Shri.Bhajirao Shinde. The Deputy Executive Officer Shri.AppasahebShinde was also present on the occasion.

3. Gujarat Chief Minister Smt.Anandiben Patel visit to Shirdi -Shri Sai Baba Sansthan Trust (Shirdi).

Chief Minister of Gujarat Smt.Anandiben Patel visited Shirdi on Friday, 25th September 2015 and had darshan of Shri SaiBaba's Samadhi. MLA from Kopergaon Smt.Snehlata kolhe & Executive Officer of Shri Sai Baba Sansthan Trust(Shirdi) Shri.Bajirao Shinde were also present on the occasion.




4. Chandigarh Sai Devotees donates Maruti Eco Ambulance worth Rupees Three Lakh Fifty Nine Thousand toShri Sai Baba Sansthan Trust (Shirdi) - Shri Sai Baba Sansthan Trust (Shirdi).

6. Shri Sai Baba Sansthan makes elaborate arrangements in view of Second Shahi Snaan at Kumbh Mela 2015 atNasik - 5th Press Report - Shri Sai Baba Sansthan Trust (Shirdi).

Shri Sai Baba Sansthan’s Executive Officer Shri.Bajirao Shinde informed media persons at a press conference heldon Monday, 14th September 2015, that during last 3 days on the occasion of 2nd Shai Snaan at Kumbhmela Nashik, 7 to 8lakh devotees have taken darshan of Shri Sai Baba’s Samadhi in Shiridi and about 2.5 Lakh Free ladu packets were distributedat Darshan Queue.

Shri.Shinde said that huge crowd was expected due to Sinhasta Kumbh Mela at Nasik especially during 2nd Shai snanon 13th September 2015. To bring Devotees from Parking lot no 6 & 7 upto Kandoba temple to reach opposite to BSNL officeparking lot for the devotees coming from Ahmednagar & Pune direction 25 Private buses were arranged. Similarly for thedevotees coming from Nashik, Kopargoan & Manamad, From Parking lot no 2 & 4, from there onwards to reach upto LaksmiNagar, & Parking lot opposite to Hotel Abhishek 20 private buses were arranged. Overall 68 buses (45 private buses and 23buses from Sansthan) were arranged for this purpose. In each Parking lot, Mini Buses from Sansthan was used to bring Blind,Handicapped & physically challenged devotees. During last 3 days about 5 lakh devotees have used this facility. Similarly8,995 vehicles were parked in all the available parking lots.

To provide Prasad Bhojan facility for all the devotees, Prasad Bhojan was arranged at Sai Prasadalay, Shri Sainath Hospital,Shri Saibaba Bhaktinivas (500 Rooms) Dwarawati Bhakti Niwas, Sai Ashram Bhaktinivas etc. Around 1 lakh 25 thousanddevotees got benefitted from this free Prasad Bhojan.

First Aid Centres & Medical Facility were arranged at All parking lots, Temple Premises, Darshan Queue, Prasadalay & SaiAhsram Bhaktinivas, Sai Prasadalay, Railway Station etc. Shri.Shinde said that around 2000 devotees used this facility(Translated from Marathi to English by Shri.Nagaraj Anvekar, Bangalore).

7. Huge Crowd Turnout in Shirdi on the auspicious occasion of Kumbh Mela-2015 at Nasik -Shri Sai BabaSansthan Trust (Shirdi).

There was a huge rush of Devotees in Shirdi to have darshan of Sai Baba on Saturday, 12th September 2015 on theauspicius occasion of Kumbh Mela-2015 that is going on in Nasik.




There were huge number of Vehicles seen at the parking area on 13th September 2015, Sunday on account of KumbhMela-2015 that is going on in Nasik.




Considering the huge crowd on the auspicious occasion of Kumbh Mela-2015 Second Shahi Snan, Shri Sai Baba Sansthan hadarranged 68 buses to ferry devotees from the Parking Lot to Darshan Queue.

8. Shri Sai Baba Sansthan makes elaborate arrangements in view of Second Shahi Snaan at Kumbh Mela 2015 atNasik - 4th Press Report - Shri Sai Baba Sansthan Trust (Shirdi).

Shri Sai Baba Sansthan’s Executive Officer Shri.Bajirao Shinde informed media persons at a press conference heldon Sunday, 13th September 2015, that considering the huge crowd coming in during Second Shahi Snaan at Kumbh Mela inNasik on 13th September 2015 & 14th September 2015, First Aid Centres & Medical Facility are being arranged at All Parkinglots, Temple Premises, Darshan Queue, Prasadalay & Sai Ahsram Bhaktinivas.

Shri.Shinde said that huge crowd is expected due to Sinhasta Kumbh Mela at Nasik, during 2nd Shaisnan on 13th September2015 & 14thSeptember, First Aid Centres & Medical Facility are being arranged at All parking lots, Temple Premises, DarshanQueue, Prasadalay & Sai Ahsram Bhaktinivas, Sai Prasadalay, Railway Station etc . In all these First Aid centres, along withFirst Aid treatment free medicines will also be given, To provide medical treatment, totally a team of consisting 20 Doctors

To provide easy well being , Mobile toilet facility have been provided at 10 places like near Shirdi Police Station, Near HotelKala Sai , Near Nagar Panchayat water Tank, Shri Sai Baba Bhaktiniwas (500 Rooms), South Side of Sai Ashram Bhakti Niwas,Shirdi Railway Station, Vehicle Parking lot No 5, Sai Dharmashala, Temple Premises outside gate no 5, SainathMangalKaryalay. Similarly In all vehicle parking lots, Fibre Toilets have been provided, To keep the the additional queue & allvehicle parking lots clean, 140 people have been deployed to work in 2 shifts. Similarly for cleaning the places from SaiAshram Bhaktiniwas to Lakshmi Nagar, Nagar Manmad Road & Pimpalwadi Road, gate no 1 to Sainath Mangal Karyalay, 40people have been deployed to work in 2 shifts. In Night Shift 36 persons have been deployed for the purpose of cleaning.Besides this, at all the above places medicines and insecticides will be sprayed.

Shri.Shinde informed that to facilitate easy darshan & to provide all kinds of services to all the devotees, Sansthanemployees and Government employees & 907 Students from SSGM College, Kopargaon, KJ Somiah college, Kopargaon,Nutan college Rajapur, BST College, Sangamner, Sangamner Municipality art DJ Malpani & BN Sarda Science University ,Sangamner, Shri Sai Baba Sansthan Junior College Shirdi, Padmashree Vikhe Patil college, Pravaranagar, Arts ScienceCommerce College, Rahata & Raju Kakde Help Academy Devrukh have been deployed. 1104 Volunteers from Karnataka (Bengaluru) Gujarat, Maharashtra , Shirdi & Panchakroshi will be doing services at Temple premises, Darshan Queue, AdditonalDarshan Queue, All vehicle Parking lots etc (Translated from Marathi to English by Shri.Nagaraj Anvekar,Bangalore).

Additional accommodation facility has been arranged by by putting upShamiyana at Sai Ashram Bhaktinivas, Sai Baba Bhaktinivas, Dwaravati Bhaktinivas, Sai Ashram Dharmashala. To makeLadu & Boondi Prasad easily available to all devotees, distribution will be made at new prasadalay, Dwaravati Bhakti Nivas, &Sai Baba Bhaktinivas. Additional Udi distribution centres have been arranged at Sai Prasadalay, Sai Ashram Bhaktinivas &Dwaravati Bhaktinivas. Shri Sai Baba Sansthan’s Executive Officer Shri.Bajirao Shinde informed media persons at a press conference heldon Friday, 11th September 2015, that considering the huge crowd coming in during Second Shahi Snaan at Kumbh Mela inNasik on 13th September 2015 & 14th September 2015, keeping in mind the safety of the people CCTV cameras will beinstalled at main places inside Temple Complex and also at important places in Shirdi.

Shri.Shinde said that huge crowd is expected in Shirdi due to Sinhasta Kumbh Mela at Nasik. Considering the safety of Saidevotees CCTV cameras will be installed at 30 different places in Shirdi like - Near Gate No.2 , Police station, Kopargoan –Shiv Road, Infront of Sai Ashram-1, Sai Baba Bhaktaniwas (500 Rooms), Pimpalwadi Road Circle, Saish Corner, OldPimpalwadi Road, Bus Stand Circle etc. These CCTV Cameras will be controlled from Shirdi Police Station. To telecast LiveDarshan from Samadhi Mandir, 3 Digital LED Screens have been displayed near Old Prasadalay & 4 Digital LED screens havebeen displayed near Darshan Queue at Gate No.2 in Pimpalwadi Road.

Considering the safety of Sai Devotees, 79 CCTV Cameras have been installed near Parking lots at several places like ShriK.C.Pandey Savlivir Fata, Somaiah Properties, Agriculture Corporation Neemgaon Korhale, Agriculture Corporation ShantabaiHaribhau Shilke, Sai Prasad Properties Sakuri, Kalyani Ravishri Kundala, Sakuri.

Shri.Shinde also said that as demanded by Shirdi Police Station, various safety materials have been given to Shirdi Policestation. Through Sansthan’s IT Department, updated Information of Sasnthan Web "Sai Tower" has been made avaialbe toShirdi Police Station. This will Provide Right information & Guidance for the devotees coming in during Sinhasta Kumbhmela.Announcement Centres have been started at all parking lots, to announce about missing person, lost & found items. Similarly,184 speakers have been installed starting from Government Guest House upto Sai Baba Bhakta Niwas (500 Rooms) at variouslocations (Translated from Marathi to English by Shri.Nagaraj Anvekar, Bangalore).

11. Shri Sai Baba Sansthan makes elaborate arrangements in view of Second Shahi Snaan at Kumbh Mela 2015at Nasik - Shri Sai Baba Sansthan Trust (Shirdi).

Shri Sai Baba Sansthan’s Executive Officer Shri.Bajirao Shinde informed media persons at a press conference heldon Thursday, 10th September 2015, that considering the huge crowd coming in during Second Shahi Snaan at Kumbh Melain Nasik on 13th & 14th September 2015, VIP Darshan passes will be not be issued on these 2 days.

Shri.Shinde said that huge crowd is expected due to Sinhasta Kumbh Mela at Nasik especially during 2nd Shaisnan on13th September 2015. Hence, VIP darshan passes will not be issued on 13th & 14th September 2015. To control the hugecrowd which is expected during this time in an efficient manner, Shri Sai Baba Sansthan is providing various services for thedevotees.

Old Prasadalay building is being converted as the main control room. The temple premises, vehicle parking lots, Bhakti Nivas &all other palces will be controlled from this control room. Parking facility has been made at several places like Savlivir Fata,Lakshmivadi Somaiah School ground , Neemgoan, Korhale, Nagar-Manmad Road East & Neemgaon Korhale Sai PrasadalayWest for the vehicles coming from Nasik & Kopargaon direction.Similarly, for the vehicles coming from Ahmednagar & Punedirection parking facility has been made next to Sai Upasini Fabrication, in front of Hotel Prabahat Sakuri, near M.N.Radhakrishna Vikhe Patil Petrol Pump,Pimpalwadi road, Kankuri road etc. All in all, 10 parking facility have been made atdifferent places for the benefit of devotees. In the each parking lot information about temple, C loak room facility, ChappalStand, Toilets, Canteen, Tiffen packets, Shed for taking rest, Announcement centres will be available.

Additional staying facility by putting Shamiyana has been made at Sai Ashram Bhaktinivas, Sai Baba Bhaktinivas, Dwaravati Bhaktinivas, Sai Ashram Dharmashala. During Kumbh Mela Canteen facility has been made available at Sai Ashram,Bhaktinivas, New Bhaktinivas, Old prasadalay , Bhaktinivas 1st & 2nd floor (Darshan Queue), Dwaravati Bhakti Nivas, Sainath& Saibaba Hospital, Sai Dharmashala. All vehicle parking lots & Additional darshan Queue. To make Ladu & Boondi Prasadeasily available to all devotees, distribution will be made at new prasadalay, Dwaravati Bhakti Nivas, & Sai Baba Bhaktinivas.Additional Udi distribution centres have been arranged at Sai Prasadalay, Sai Ashram Bhaktinivas, & Dwaravati Bhaktinivas.

Sansthan has deployed additional Staff of 1175 Nos., 1500 Volunteer Students from different places, Revenue Sub-DistrictOfficers, Divisional Officers,Tahasildar etc., 13 Sector Officers, 50 Dctors from Medical Department & 60 Officers from PoliceDepartment, 613 Staff Members have been deployed to provide special services.
