The results of Soliton Drive for 2020 Batch were announced today. We congratulate the
following four students who have secured the offers with a pay package of 5.5 LPA.
Infoview off campus drive for 2019 Batch students of ECE, EEE, CSE, IT was conducted
today. Mr. Sarath, HRM of Infoview delivered the pre - placement talk. 100 students took up
the online test & 35 students are shortlisted for the Interview scheduled tomorrow at SKCET.
The CTC offered is 4. 5 LPA.

As a part of TTT program, a full day session on „Machine Learning Techniques‟ was
organized by the department of CSE and IT. Dr. S Balakrishnan, HoD-B.Tech CSBS and
Prof.A.Devi Priya of IT department delivered the sessions on “Overview of Machine
Learning Algorithms” along with a hands-on training session on “Jupyter Notebook” to the
faculty fraternity.

A 5 days STP (Short term Program) on “Haptic Technology for design of soft robots” in
association with NITTTR, Chandigarh is being organized by Department of ECE. The
forenoon session of Day 4 was handled by Dr. Jude Hemanth, Associate Professor,
Karunya University, Coimbatore. Dr. Jude had an interactive session on “Deep Learning for
pattern Recognition Applications”. The afternoon session was on “Ethics of VR and AR” by
Dr. C. Thirumaraiselvi, Associate Professor, Department of ECE.

TTT on Harmonic Analysis was handled by Prof.S Pradeep of Science and Humanities
Department. He synergized about teaching for diversity and various questions were raised
on the topic which made the discussion lively. The afternoon session was conducted by
Prof. R Suresh on the topic Fourier series. He pooled in the various competencies that
need to be developed in the specified topic.

Mr. R. Vighnesh, Assistant Professor has
successfully completed the Summer Research
Fellowship Program organized by Indian
Academy of Sciences from 15th April 2019 to 9th
June 2019 (56 days) at Indian Institute of
Technology Delhi to enhance his knowledge on
“Material Science”. During his internship, he
worked in the Combustion Laboratory on
identifying and characterizing materials for use in
high temperature application such as bangle
making furnace and Finite Element Analysis of the
structure made with these materials using
standard software.

Dr. J. Thaarrini, Associate Professor presented the Train the Trainer Program on “Risk
Management” which is one among the ten Knowledge areas in Project Management Body
of Knowledge (PMBOK). It was a beneficial session for the faculty members to have an
