These contract packages represent the work that was necessary to replace the south end of the Alaskan Way Viaduct between South Holgate Street and South King Street.The stages of work shown here include a temporary bypass between South Royal Brougham Way and South King Street that connects the new SR 99 roadway to the existing viaduct along the waterfront. A connection between the new roadway and the SR 99 tunnel will be built as part of the tunnel’s South Access Project.
