Dear Friends and Fellow Breeders,

On behalf of the entire crew at Square D, we would like to extend an invitation to be with us on October 21, 2013 at the ranch. This year’s sale offering may be our best yet. The bull calves are some of our top pros-pects, representing herd sires that actually walk our pastures and carefully selected AI sires. They are very balanced in performance and maternal genetics. They are out of females that milk well with near perfect, problem free udders, and can raise a calf on grass.

The heifer calves are very uniform and we would not hesitate to keep them in our program or enter them in a show. They are the kind that you can build a cow herd around. The bred heifers come from the heart of our replacements, many of them have several generations of straight Square D genetics or are produced by cattle that we have carefully researched and purchased.

Here at Square D ,Wascana Cattle Co, and Mannle Polled Herefords, we know the importance of selecting for non measured traits such as udders, teat quality, fleshing ability, and calving ease. These are all traits that rate high in our programs, as well as the measurement of performance, fertility and disposition.

If cow families are your thing then have a look here. The 257 cow family has produced some of the top cattle for square-d the last few years. Mylee 257U is a sister to Ranchman and the Jaeden cow who had last years high seller and has another outstanding heifer calf as lot 1. This heifer is sired by the outcross 9121 bull who has been producing females worthy of the centerfold consistently.

Terms & Conditions Terms: Terms of sale are cash or cheque. In order that the cattle can be re-leased or transfers can be made, settlement must be made immediately follow-ing the sale. Receivables will only be made on order bids. Every animal sells to the highest bidder and in case of disputes, the auctioneer’s decision is final. Announcements from the auction block will take precedence over the printed material in the catalogue. Current exchange rates will be announced sale day.

Pedigrees: All of the cattle selling are registered with the CHA and any certifi-cate of registration will be transferred to the buyer after the sale at the seller’s expense. Calf EPD’s are pedigree estimates.

Health: The cattle being offered are in good health. All the herds are maintained in a TB and Brucellosis free area. Any necessary tests needed for export will be arranged by Square-D following the sale.

Guarantee: The cattle are guaranteed in accordance with the rules and regula-tions as set by the CHA

Insurance: Authorized reps. will be on hand to insure your purchases

Transportation: Contributors will assist in any way possible in the delivery of your purchases. Cattle purchased by US buyers will be returned to the seller’s farm at the purchaser’s risk while pedigrees are being processes. US and Canadi-an purchases will be looked after at NO CHARGE until delivery can be arranged

Phone, Mail, or Wire Bids: Bidders unable to attend the sale can phone, wire or mail their bids and instructions to any of the owners, auctioneer or sale staff. Bids must be received in sufficient time prior to sale.

Risk: All persons who attend the sale do so at their own risk. The auctioneer, owners, management and sale staff assume no liability, legal, or otherwise, for any accidents that may occur.
