Always uses our instance of SQL Express. We control sa password, and limit user count (15)
Each Server install includes a SQL Express instance and the SQL Server Management Studio Express (optional for workstation).
Each Workstation install behaves as in 9.5: if the machine will be a remote, install SQL Express
Sharing of Address Books via File menu, Connect to Address Book
We do NOT support Windows Authentication / SSO mode in the Group Edition.

There are 3 methods to converting the Pervasive database:
1. Upgrade Maximizer Enterprise Btrieve Database Need to supply MAX and SAV (Backup) files
2. Restore from Pervasive Backup
3. Upgrade by opening the Address Book if Pervasive install present

Sharing / Connecting to Workgroup Address Books Sharing / Connecting to Workgroup Address Books
“Connect to Address Book” allows adding existing shared Address Books to a workstation’s Address Book List.
User chooses a machine running SQL from a list, and selects one or more of the Address Books hosted by that machine to connect to.
Selected Address Book(s) are added to the Address Book List specified (Local / Global).
