SPY is doing—and creating—rad shit. It’s been this way since day one, when we first put cool-looking shades on ourselves and our friends lurking along the shores, mountains, trails and tracks of Southern California.

For nearly two decades now, we’ve managed to not take ourselves too seriously. This allows us the luxury of always putting the F-U in “FUN” while hanging with our crew of ridiculously talented athletes, designers and artsy-fartisans. The mash-up of our collective obsession with action sports, tech, youth culture and music, keeps us up late at night, noodling on new gear that works insane and has better style than the other guys’ stuff.

So what have we learned during all this time? That we make incredible, high-quality products that go on your face, which allow you to see clearer, look cooler, perform better and be more comfortable while doing the things that make you feel most alive. Also, that we’re committed to supporting like-minded folk and the pastimes that inform who we are, what we do, why we do it. And we wouldn’t have it any other way.

His influence is dripping all over the SPY+LV Mayson this year, producing a primer-sprayed tortoise show that will leave Paparazzi rubber-necking. ANSI-CERTIFIED OPTICSOur shades make you look cool and help you see cool things, certainly, but they’re also designed to keep your eyeballs protected and in your head. That’s why we made sure this pair of specs was ANSI Z87.1 certified for lens retention and high mass impact resistance. That means if something hits you in the face (or if your face hits something), the lenses will resist ejecting, they won’t shatter, and the frame won’t break. One test these badass optics endured is a 1Ž4-inch metal ball blasted at the them at more than 100 mph. The other is a 1.1 lb. pointed projectile dropped on them from more than 4 feet up.
