Enrollment InformationFull payment of fees is due at the time of enrollment. Class space is not reserved without fee payment, a PO number, or sponsor authorization. Special testing fees for certifi cations are not included in the course fee. Book/supply costs are not included in the tuition cost. Course fees may be paid by cash, credit card or check. Payment plans are an option on a case-by-case basis.

Anyone age 16 or older may enroll in a Short-term class on a fi rst-come, fi rst-served basis. Certain regulations may apply. Enrollment is taken by the Adult Education/ACD staff Monday through Thursday from 8:00a-9:30p and Friday from 8:00a-4:30p. To enroll, call Drumright: 918.352.2551 x 222 or Sapulpa 918.227.0331.

Certified to teach in early education child care facilities

The Child Development Associate (CDA) is the most recognized child care credential in the United States. It is nationally transferable and is considered to be a key credential in the early childhood education profession. The CDA program offered at Central Tech is a comprehensive 130 hour curriculum that provides 15 units of CDA training and prepares child care providers for the National CDA Credential awarded by the Council for Early Childhood Professional Recognition. Units 1-14 may be taken in any order. Unit 15 can only be taken after units 1-14 are completed. Class is two nights a week, with the first night of class held on campus; the second night of class can be taken online from your home or any location.

A Certified Nurse Aide is a person trained in basic nursing techniques and direct patient care who practices under the supervision of a registered nurse. CNA’s assist patients with daily living and fundamental tasks.

Many CNAs will obtain advanced certification after working for 6 months. You can choose to advance your career as a CNA or choose the Certified Medication Aide (CMA) track.

The Cisco Network Fundamentals course is an introductory study of the OSI and TCP/IP models used in data communication and computer networks with an emphasis on network infrastructure design, confi guration, and implementation. Unarmed security professionals perform the functions of observation, detection, reporting, or notification to appropriate authorities regarding whatever they are contracted to protect. This person does not carry or have access to a firearm. After successful completion of this course, you can set for Council on Law Enforcement Education and Training (CLEET) certification.

The security & private investigator career track is set up to provide a variety of options depending on your career goals. After taking and gaining CLEET certification for Phase I & II Unarmed Security you can add Phase III Private Investigator, or Phase IV Armed Security Guard. Both of these courses requires certification to be licensed in the state of Oklahoma. Phase IV also required successful passing of the MMPI.

Armed Security Guards are hired to guard and maintain order usually of a business or public building. They are licensed to carry a firearm.

A Private Investigator investigates, observes, inquires and examines for the purpose of obtaining information with reference to a specific matter.

NEW CLASSES!Pharmacy TechnicianLearn pharmacy math calculations, drug classifi cations and combinations that can cause problems. Receive hands-on training in daily pharmacy operations. This course prepares students to take the Pharmacy Technician Certifi cation Board (PTCB) national certifi cation exam.

This is an introductory course in Sign Language with an emphasis on visual receptive and expressive use of language. It consists of a preparatory phase to attune students to communication in the manual-visual mode, followed by instruction and practice in vocabulary, sentence structure and elementary conversation.

General Education ParaprofessionalThe Education Paraprofessional program provides theory and practical skills needed for working as eff ective members of instructional teams. An education paraprofessional works under the supervision of a licensed/certifi ed staff member to assist and support educational services.

MediationThis course is geared toward those who are interested in learning what it takes to become a professional mediator, and is a great tool for those who will be involved in any aspect of mediation. Students will learn the stages involved in the mediation process with an emphasis on fairness and cooperation.

Victim AdvocacyLearn techniques for providing assistance to crime victims, both inside and outside of the courtroom. Students become prepared to work with state and county governments as advocates for crime victims, assisting them in progressing through the criminal justice system and toward successful recovery.

Software Essentials for the Law Offi ceThis dynamic course is designed for legal professionals interested in improving their skills and knowledge of commonly used computer technology and programs within the law offi ce. Topics include: computer operating systems and peripheral devices; time tracking and billing software and more.

Personal Injury for ParalegalsIn this class, you will learn many of the legal terms, courses of action and remedies available to victims of personal injury accidents. Course includes review of the negligence theory of torts upon which many personal injury claims are based. It also covers a wide variety of objectives.

The TCC Nursing Program o� ers an Advanced Placement Track for Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN) and Paramedics, which allows for completion of nursing courses in two to three semesters. Courses are o� ered online with some classroom and lab activities with clinical rotations during evening and weekend hours.

This course is designed for healthcare and billing professionals. Students will receive training in insurance and medical claims processing in accordance with professional, legal, and insurance industry standards. You will also learn the functions of the Electronic Health Record and its benefi ts to health care workers, physicians and patients. Best practices for transitioning to EHR, and rules and regulations governing EHR software will be discussed.
