TATAGWA TRAILSTATAGWA PARKWAY SYSTEM (see map below for trail system route) Phone (306) 848-3290 Email cblockweyburncaTatagwa Parkway consists of 180 acres of land developed as an urban conservation park which is adjacent to the Souris River as it meanders through the City of WeyburnA total of 85 kilometers of trails have been developed for walking and biking enjoyment as well as access roads and parking lots Picnic tables and park benches have also been placed throughout the parkway Two islands were created on the Souris River to protect waterfowlTo date 175 native plant species have been identified and catalogued some of these species being quite rare Thirty-six signs identifying the plant species and wildlife can be found along the trails In addition 40000 various caliber trees have been planted in the parkway

ELKS PARK (237 Douglas Rd) The park provides 15 hectares of irrigated green space with an accessiblebarrier-free play structure which is wheelchair playable all the way to the top fea-turing wheelchair ramps and hex decks from the ground level all the way to the top platform Ground level components add to the fun

JUBILEE PARK (583 13th St NE) Sixteen aces in the cityrsquos northeast provides a variety of outdoor athletic andrecreational opportunities The park has six ball diamonds specifications of which vary in order to accommodate all levels of minor ball The newly refurbished tennis courts are equipped with lighting for extended hours of evening play (see more on pg 17) The park features a CSA certified play structure suitable for enjoyment by children of all ages

RIVER PARK (403 Confederation Dr) Set along the banks of the Souris River River Park is the jewel of Weyburnrsquos park system with its mature shade trees and beautifully manicured grounds The park has numerous picnic and barbecue areas perfect for large gatherings Featuring a nine basket disc golf course and spray park (find more information on pg 6 of this guide)
