With this throw, the delicious ice-cream colours alone make you reach out for it. Or because it feels so light, airy and fluffy to the touch – for a wool blend abso-lutely remarkable. And then there is the stylish washed-look! Apro-pos, MAVIE’s effect is achieved in the cold-dye process. That means, not the yarn is dyed but rather the already woven throw itself. Since at low temperatures in the ma-chine the material doesn’t take on the colours evenly all over, a natural, slightly irregular off-tone is created.

Bei diesem Plaid möchte man schon allein wegen der leckeren Eiscreme-Farben zugreifen. Oder weil es sich so leicht, locker und fluffig anfühlt – absolut unge-wöhnlich für ein Woolblend. Und dann wäre da noch der stylishe Washed-Look! Der wird bei MAVIE übrigens im Cold-Dyed-Verfahren erzielt. Gefärbt wird dabei nicht das Garn, sondern das bereits fertiggewebte Plaid. Da das Gewebe bei Nied-rigtemperaturen in der Maschine die Farben nicht überall gleichmäßig aufnimmt, entsteht ein natürlicher, leicht unregelmäßiger Off-Ton.

All of our furs are imitations that resemble genuine furs to a hair, and feel exactly the same. A good reason animals no longer need to save their skins.

Wir fördern Produkte wie EASY. Für ihn wird beim Färben von 1 Kilo Garn nur 1 Liter Wasser benötigt – statt wie üblich bis zu 150 Liter Wasser.
