EDUCATIONBy giving school groups an invitation to observe what goes on behind the scenes at the Element Global Headquarters, students have the opportunity to view first hand, the career opportunities available within a brand that most of them are familiar with. A day at Element inspires youth to follow their interests or ideas that they are truly passionate about.

WILDERNESS PROGRAMThe Elemental Awareness wilderness program encompasses aspects of anthropology, natural history, and survival skills that leave youth eager to take their skills to the next level. Participants learn the basics of living harmoniously with the earth without modern conveniences such as sleeping bags, lighters, or even tents. This builds confidence and critical thinking skills while challenging the student at the same time.

SKATECAMP SCHOLARSHIPSElemental Awareness provides the funding for scholarships to Element YMCA Skate Camp through its donation program, giving eligible youth the opportunity to experience a week in the mountains. The process of leaving the nesta and exploring the unknown promotes independence and inspires the scholarship recipients.

SKATEBOARDINGElemental Awareness conducts a series of contests each year all around the world. The contests are held to promote skateboarding as a positive activity and to help the community support youth in these areas. Winners of each competition receive a full scholarship to Element YMCA Skate Camp and given the unique opportunity to spend a week in the Sierra Nevada mountains, skating and becoming inspired by the environment surrounding them.

A portion of proceeds from every Element shoe and select skateboards sold will benefit the Elemental Awareness Foundation whose mission is to positively transform lives through their love of skateboarding.

Under the direction of the Elemental Awareness Foundation, programs are aimed to promote social awareness, environmental responsibility, and encourage a healthy, active lifestyle.

SORONA POLYESTERSorona fiber is made from 37% renewable resources (Corn Sugar) by weight. The production of Sorona reduces the impact of greenhouse gas emissions on global warming by reducing CO2 emissions and reducing energy consumption. The fibers have high strength and soft surface feel.

MOISTURE WICKING DENIMThis element material combats the abrasion caused between damp denim and skin by wicking moisture away from the body more effectively than any other fabric.
