BioApplied focuses on advanced technologies in renewable resource sectors supporting clients who are developing new products, new services, new processes, new industrial partnerships, and building new businesses through innovation. Biographical Information: Chris Edge obtained his PhD from the University of New Brunswick in 2012. After graduating he worked as a post doctoral fellow at the University of Alabama and then the University of Toronto. Chris’ research is focussed on understanding how ecosystems respond to disturbance at broad spatial and long temporal scales with a focus on forest use pesticides, such as glyphosate, and community dynamics.

Biographical Information: James Farrell began his education in Forestry at Algonquin College where he graduated in 1991. He continued his undergraduate studies at Saint Thomas University and the University of New Brunswick. James is currently completing his Masters degree in Forestry at UNB focusing on species identification using airborne LiDAR. For the past 22 years, James has worked for the Canadian Forest Service/CWFC in Fredericton.
