• Purpose of small group discussion is to practice speaking English. Please use English when speaking in your group.
• Only one person speaks at a time.• Respect person who is speaking. Listen attentively when a
group member is speaking. No whispering with person next to you.
• Keep your attention focused on conversation in your group only. Do not interrupt/call out to individuals in other groups.

Discussion Point: • Forgiveness is a choice to let go of the mental and
emotional weight of: 1) things we think we did wrong—show self-
acceptance 2) things we think others did wrong-show
compassion
• Forgiveness is a gift we give to ourselves; it opens up our mind and heart to receive more good
