WELCOME TO THE NORWICH WOMEN’S CLUB

SPRING GALA AND AUCTION

It is with great anticipation, excitement and pride that we welcome you to the

2014 Spring Gala. This is the event that, with your help, will allow us to fund our

community grants that support so many worthwhile Norwich projects.

The enthusiastic response to this event has been gratifying. Last year, our

second annual Spring Gala, was a great success. As a result of the generosity of the

Norwich community, we were able to distribute more than $22,000 in community

grants. We are relying on the continued generosity of the Upper Valley community

to top last year’s results.

So many people have worked so hard to ensure the success of this year’s Gala.

I would like to offer a great big thank you to the Spring Gala Committee, the many

generous and creative donors to our auction, Ledyard National Bank for their finan-

cial support and to all of you who support our efforts.

We invite you to browse through the auction catalog and then join us for the

Gala. Have a drink with your neighbors and friends, feast on the delicious goodies,

and bid… and then bid again! Every winning bid will let you go home with something

to add to your house, provide you with a unique vacation, a fun experience, or an

unusual party or fabulous feast to enjoy with your friends or family. But even more

important, one hundred percent of every dollar raised will go back to supporting our

community through the NWC Community Project grants.

We would like to extend our congratulations to Cinny Bensen, the talented

and deserving winner of this year’s Norwich Citizen of the Year for Community

Service.

Have a great evening!
