Re-wilding: our greatest hope and our greatest fearThanks to your support orphans Chamilandu and Chodoba are now ready to return to the wild.

This is an exciting step in their story but also one fraught with danger.

These elephants need you now, more than ever.

Both elephants were brought to the DSWF funded orphanage in Zambia seven years ago as innocent victims of the poaching crisis. In Africa elephants are being killed at a faster rate than they are being born. The safety of these two orphans and wild elephants is at risk.

Will you help today, before it’s too late?

You can help protect them from the brutal fate suffered by their families at the hands of poachers.

The Elephant Orphanage and Park Protection Projects are projects of Game Rangers International, established by the David Shepherd Wildlife Foundation, in close collaboration with the Zambia Wildlife Authority and International Fund for Animal Welfare.
