• Mission: to support the Government of Canada in reaching G-8 goal of reducing TB by 50% by 2010 through education, co-ordination, communication and advocacy

• Website, Coordinating board, Monthly conference calls • Annual World TB day celebration• Response to emergencies, eg HQ funding• Need for linkages• Discovered other STOP TB in-country partnerships

• Nigeria- Nasir Sani Gwarzo inter-agency committee of NGOs and other sectors as STOP TB Committee of Nigeria. Mobilization is beginning, government is talking more about TB and case detection has increased 30% over the past year.

• Indonesia- Carmelia Basari- Gerdunas(STOP TB) Indonesia 44 partners probably the first ..-good knowledge and experience on how to engage at provincial levels local government and community based organizations.
