EOSSingle-line Oil System

EOS is the reliable and mosteconomical solution for the oillubrication of chains. The sys-tem is a direct operating, elec-trically driven, single-line cen-tralized lubrication system. Thesystem is ideal for machineswith chain drives and 12/24VDC power supply - e.g. agri-cultural equipment such asbalers. A typical industrialapplication is for packagingmachine such as palletizers.

The EOS metering elements sup-ply the required oil quantity intime-controlled intervals tobrushes which evenly apply theoil to the chain.

The required metered quantity ofoil can be adjusted to properlymatch the working condition, thesize and length of the chain. Themetering range selection of 0.1,0.3, 0.4 or 0.5 ccm provides ver-satility to ensure that require-ments are met.

EOS ControllerFor machines without a controller,e.g. balers in the agriculturalindustry, Lincoln offers a 12/24VDC controller. The run time isfixed at 4 seconds and the pausetime is adjustable from 1 to 100minutes. The controller enables asimple retrofit installment of theEOS oil lubrication system.

Contact Lubricationwith Guide Blocks

The contact lubrication compris-es 2 polymer-plastic blocksbetween which the chain runs. The guide blocks fit exactly tothe size and type of chain (rollerchains according. to DIN 8187).

The upper block has channelsthat direct the lubricant to thechain. The lubricant is distributedalong the length of the blockallowing it to penetrate the chain.

This system offers essentialadvantages - the worst of the dirton the chain is cleaned off, thechain is guided and supplied withcontinuous lubricant. The contactlubrication has an extraordinarylong life thanks to highly wear-resistant plastics that are veryrobust and insensitive to contam-ination and knocks.

ApplicationsContact lubrication is ideal forslow and fast moving chains (upto a max. of 40 m/min). All typesof lubricant - from low viscosityoil to lubrication greases can beused. Lincoln centralized lubrica-tion systems provide the opti-mum lubricant supply.

The system has been designedespecially for chains in palletconveyor systems, e.g. in thefood and beverage industry.Pallet systems for return goodsare particularly exposed to a highgrade of contamination: woodchips, broken glass, and in thewinter, ice particles stick to thechain and result in prematurewear. Other applications for a contactlubrication system are passengeror freight elevators as well asescalators.

QuicklubProgressive System for Grease orOil for Slow Moving, Small Chains

Chain Lubrication

The Lincoln brush lubricationin conjunction with theQuicklub 203 pump providesan economical entry-levelchain lubrication system. TheQuicklub range does howeveroffer numerous add-on possi-bilities. As a result, it fulfils allexpectations for an easy, main-tenance-friendly and high qual-ity lubrication system.

Brush lubrication not only lubri-cates the contact points of thelinks, but rather the entire chain. The pump supplies the lubricanteither directly or via a progressivemetering device to the brushes, which evenly apply the lubricantto the chain. As a result, high-vis-cous chain oils and lubricants upto NLGI class 2 can be easily, economically and reliably applied.

A progressive system can serveup to 100 lubrication points, thusseveral brushes may be posi-tioned along the chains to ensuresufficient lubricant supply.

Optional system monitoring isoffered with a 203 pump incorpo-rating the appropriate PCB andcorresponding progressive meter-ing devices. Additional optionsinclude low level monitoring.

Centro-MaticCentralized Lubrication System

Oil Lubrication for slow movingchains● The chain speed can be up to

6 m/min if brushes are used. ● For contact-free squirt

applications, the chain speed is dependent on the chain divi-sion and the total number of SL-43 lubricant injectors.

The Centro-Matic system is asingle-line system. One applica-tion for a Centro-Matic system isthe oil lubrication of chains.

The Centro-Matic oil systemoperates intermittently with achange in pressure and pressurerelief.A centralized pump supplies theconnected injectors with oil. Theinjector supplies the meteredquantity of oil under pressure (52-69 bar) and the metering cham-ber is filled. After the mainlinepressure has been relieved, thepreset quantity of oil from themetering piston is forced in frontof the supply piston. The Lincoln“SL” injectors are the key com-ponent of a Centro-Matic system.

The injectors are infinitelyadjustable and they are equippedwith an indicator pin for visualmonitoring. SL-43 injectors, witha pneumatically driven single-stroke centralized lubricationpump, are most commonly usedfor oil lubrication of chains.

System Advantages● Switching on and off of

individual chain groups is possible

● Exact metering, independent of oil viscosity and flow resistance

● The high operating pressure of the injector enables accurate oil expulsion

● Lubricates without com-pressed air

ORSCOMinimum Quantity Oil Spray System

Oil Spray System for ExtremeFast Moving Chains ORSCO spray systems cover theentire oil lubrication range fromslow to fast moving chains. It is,however, especially ideal for thelubrication of extreme fast movingchains or for critical applicationswhere over-lubrication or productcontamination must be avoided.

Oil Spray Systems forProduction LinesA further application for theORSCO system is for the oiling ofcomponents such as cylinders, shafts etc. in the production, aswell as tool lubrication in themetal-forming industry.

Oil and spray-air are only firstcombined in a special mixingchamber within the nozzle. Thecompressed air acts merely as atransport medium to carry theminute oil quantity to the point oflubrication (not an oil-mist lubrica-tion).

Each nozzle is supplied intermit-tently (minimum cycle frequencyof 2 Hz) by a pneumatically oper-ated injector pump with a meteredamount of oil (15 mm or 60 mm ).

Depending on the injector versionand the cycle frequency, either anultra-fine or a thicker oil film isapplied.

Orsco Spray NozzlesNumerous nozzle types, in variousversions, enable the ORSCOspray system to cover most appli-cations.

The spray nozzles type "SWN" (asshown) with different spray pat-terns are used for example inchain lubrication applications.Spray nozzle SWN LP has theconnections on the side, whileSWN IL has the connections atthe back. Please inquire for furtherdetailed information.

Compact Series PumpsWhen an existing PLC is available, our standard components can beeasily used.

The standard series can accom-modate up to 8 injector pumps -with either 15 mm or 60 mm perstroke. The modules are availablewith or without components suchas air solenoids, pressure switch-es, air filter/regulator, etc.

Where required, we configure &design each pump assembly toexactly match your needs andspecific application.

Lubrication System SeriesThese modules are complete pre-assembled lubrication system sta-tions that include a controller, airsolenoid valves, air filter, oil reser-voir and injector pumps.

The number and type of injectorpumps are selectable. The stan-dard Series 170 system (seephoto) is available with up to 16injector pumps with a choice of 15 mm or 60 mm output perstroke.

The list of equipment for eachmodule can be individually config-ured from standard components. Please ask us for further details.

Please inquire about custom tai-lored lubrication systems (Series200 & 300) with more than 16injector pumps, and/or customerspecific controllers, or with addi-tional monitoring functions. Wewill design a system to your specifications.

CRL 101–Automated WheelFlangeLubrication for rails and wheels of cranes and other Rail Vehicles

The Lincoln CRL 101 uses twolubrication rollers for the left andright flank of the crane rail toevenly apply lubricant.

Regular lubrication of rails consid-erably increases the life expectan-cy of the wheels and reduces thewear on the rail itself. This lowersrepair costs and more importantly, reduces costly downtime.

The system is suitable for alltypes of cranes that operate ona rail profile according to DIN536 Part 1 (size A 45 to A 120).It is especially ideal for harbourcranes, as well as overhead organtry cranes.

The lubricant supply to the lubri-cant rollers is typically providedby a Lincoln multiline pump type205 and a downstream progres-sive metering device type SSV6-K. The indicator pin on the meter-ing device can be used to visuallydetermine if lubricant is evenlyflowing.

The pump is available in differentratios and with an adjustablepump element, thus enabling theexact matching of output versusrequirement. As a result, in mostcases an electrical control panelfor the pump is not required. Thedrive of the pump is simply run intandem with that of the crane’sdrive.

The pump reservoir is available in4, 8 or 30 liter capacity (withoptional low level control).Biodegradable lubricants or lubri-cant with added solid particlesmay be used. Please contact usfor queries on approved lubri-cants.

System Characteristics● Reservoir capacity: 4l, 8l or 30l

– optional electric level control● For crane rail widths from 45 to

120mm● R 1/4” flexible lubrication line

Supply Systems

Application● Bulk supply systems● Complete plant systems

We offer complete plant lubrication supply systems that, from a single source, supply anentire network of systems.

Container pumps or, if needed, booster pumps are used to supplysecondary pump stations.

Booster pumps are used to assist in pumping lubricants overextremely long distances. When tube lengths exceed several hundred meters, booster pumpsare required to boost the pressure.

Lincoln’s lubrication supply systems guarantee trouble-freeoperation in all sorts of applications.
