The safe place for all to grow in friendship, body and mind within the foundations of the Christian faith. Doesn’t a year seem like a short time? I’ve been reflecting this week on the events of the past year since I took on the role of Headteacher and in particular how quickly it has gone (for me anyway). I believe the school is in a really good place at the moment, moving forward in some exciting ways but maintaining the special feeling that it has had for many years. I would like to take the opportunity to thank all those involved in the school community for the efforts over the past year. We have a really talented and hardworking staff as well as highly supportive parents, and this, added to a group of children who really want to learn and work together is a fantastic recipe for success. St Oswald’s is a great place and I am genuinely proud to be Headteacher here. On behalf of myself and the staff I would like to wish you all a happy and relaxing Easter. Enjoy the break. Hopefully when we come back we will see some sunshine! Robins, Wrens and Sparrows Trip to Chester Earlier this week lots of children went on a fantastic trip to our wonderful city of Chester enjoying a boat trip and a ride on an open top bus. It was a fantastic day and the behaviour of the children was wonderful as always. Many thanks to the staff who organised this and also to any parents who helped on the day.
