X, previously known as Y, is a metasearch engine that searches multiple search engines at once was created by Arbel Hakopian. It was started with the domain www.Y.com in 2005. When it was first known to the public, it was a great achievement and became a sensational issue and was discussed in BBC radio, was chosen at HotSite by USA Today and managed to have entries in FOX news and so forth. However, the site was shut down due to legal problems with Law Enforcement and Lawyers. Y.com had an issue with Law and Lawyers; so after the shut down, the site was moved to Yahoo! with the order made by the court after being an issue for couple of years. After the shut down, the creator, Arbel Hakopian, decided to expand his original idea of Y.com and came up with the idea of X.com; currently it is operating with the address www.X.com. The new and improved X.com lets searchers to minimize the time and problem they might have in using multiple search engines.

The game, known as Hu-Tu-Tu, Ha-Do-Do, Chedugudu and Kaunbada, has changed through the ages. Modern X is a synthesis of the game played in various forms under different names.A dramatized version of the Mahabharata has made an analogy of the game to a tight situation faced by a character called "Abhimaneu", heir of the Pandava kings, when surrounded by the enemy. Buddhist literature speaks of the Gautam Buddha playing X. Attempts to popularize X in Great Britain saw British TV network Channel 4 commission a programme dedicated to the sport. It failed to captivate the viewers. The first World X Championship was held in Hamilton, Canada, when 14,000 people at the Copps Coliseum watched top players from India, Pakistan, Canada, England and the United States. The next edition was in Surrey, British Columbia, which hosts the first all-X stadium

• Although the exact origins are unknown, X was popularized in Japan in the late 19th century and acquired popularity worldwide throughout the 20th century. X is a hand game played by two or more people. The game is known by many names, including jan-ken-pon, kauwi-bauwi-bo, and rochambeau

• The game is often used as a selection method in a way similar to coin flipping, or throwing dice. However, unlike truly random selection methods, X can be played with a degree of skill. Especially if the game extends over many sessions with the same player(s), it is often possible to recognize and exploit the non-random behavior of an opponent.

• This game was also played to decide the auctioner when When Takashi Hashiyama, CEO of a Japanese television equipment manufacturer, decided to auction off the collection of impressionist paintings owned by his corporation, including works by Cézanne, Picasso, and van Gogh

• On April 3, 2009, Colonel By Secondary School in Ottawa, Canada, held the largest recorded X tournament, with approximately 1150 participants. The contest was throughout all the Grade 9-12s, and included teachers.

•  X, a form of dance is the name of a village in the Divi Taluka  that borders the Bay of Bengal and with resident Brahmins practising this traditional dance form, it acquired the present name. The performance usually begins with some stage rites, after which each of the character comes on to the stage and introduces him/herself with a daru (a small composition of both song and dance) to introduce the identity, set the mood, of the character in the drama. The drama then begins. The dance is accompanied by song which is typically Carnatic music. The singer is accompanied by mridangam (a classical South Indian percussion instrument), violin, flute and the tambura (a drone instrument with strings which are plucked). Ornaments worn by the artists are generally made of a light weight wood called Boorugu.
