We have broken ground for the new addition to Patrick Manor. It is a very exciting time for all of us. We have been busy cleaning up the garden and refreshing it for a beautiful spot for spring/summer enjoyment. We enjoyed a wonderful Easter Dinner & festivities, such as the Egg Hunt and Ra�e Drawing. Lots of fun and great things coming to our family at Patrick Manor!

Happenings!A huge part of being an employee at Patrick Manor is trainings. Keeping ourselves up-to-date on the latest techniques and information is key to excellent care. Our sta� participated in �rst-aid/cpr/aed trainings this month. �en Marianne Baldwin from Mederi Caretenders presented a ‘Virtual Dementia Tour’ for the sta�, providing a better understanding of the challenges faced by people dealing with this disease. A true eye-opener! And �eresa conducted a class for some of the employees demonstrating the proper methods for working with

the special needs of people with memory issues. �eresa is a certi�ed PAC trainer and loves to share her knowledge. More trainings are in the works!

Resident CouncilMeeting

April’s Resident Council Meeting was another good one. A�er discussing all of our various departments, we discussed the very important topic of disaster preparedness. �eresa focused on Fire Drills at this meeting and promised to continue with other important aspects of our disaster plan in future meetings. Patrick Manor residents are key players in

enjoy running, but now does her running in the halls of Patrick Manor! �anks for all you do, Shani!!
