THE PROCESS
We began to gauge the interest of our audience by contacting multiple sports team and then asking them to complete surverys
We initially planned to present twice to two different sports team and to compare how different teaching techniques affected learning outcomes.
•Group ideas together•Adjusted phrasing of survery options•Decided to split groups•Chose two story types
Sending the team a education video and handouts on how to shop at a grocery story, based on modeling idea

THE PROBLEM
Learn how to work in a collaborative interdisciplinary setting for creating new ideas and content..
So, we collaborated between DHBCI and Advanced Sports Nutrition to come up with a unique method for teaching nutrition information to an ASU club sport team.

WE PHRASED OUR QUESTIONS TO CATPURE THEIR DESIRED OUTCOMES – NOT WHAT WE WANTED TO TEACH THEM
Sent out an online survey to the team captain who forwarded it to the team. We took important aspects of sports nutrition and rephrased them to focus on performance outcomes rather than behaviors.
