With over 100,000 participants since 2003, ABL Sports offers the most popular team sports for adults 18 & over with a focus on fun, safety and good sportsmanship. Formerly known as 'i9 Sports,' the ABL is more focused on adult players, and our new website reflects our goal of providing the most exciting Softball, Basketball, Flag Football and Soccer leagues throughout the region.

Welcome to The 2015 Spring Shuffleboard Bar League!--Season starts April 30th!--Choose to play at the Ale House or Tally-Ho/Cooper's Union for majority of your games--League nights are Tuesday and/orThursdays and/or Wednesdays--6 week season (12 games), plus 1 week of playoffs--Most teams will play 1 night each week--Each team receives League Shirts--ABL website tracks team stats and standings--Great drink specials during the games!--League Champions win Lord Shufflepuck Cup & Champ Beer Mugs!
Softball
Slow-Pitch SoftballWe have a Men's and Coed league that plays throughout Northern NJ. To sign up a team, you'll need at least 12 players on your Roster. Short on players? Check out ourFree Agent Board, or post up a message on Facebook. The season starts in April! We keep all player stats, so check out your team box score when you get to work in the morning. League leaders, standings, news, photos, video and more. All you need is a slow-pitch softball bat, a glove and you're good to go!
During the regular season, teams will be scheduled to play in Jersey City at the famed St Anthony's High School home court, located at180 9th Street (new floors)andwill also test out our new Hobokenlocationat theHoboken Catholic Academyat 7th St. / Madison St. We also may add an additional gym location in either Jersey City or Hoboken.Regular Season plays May 3 thru late June8 regular seasongames, plus playoffsFree entry into our Spring Hoops Tournament!Most games at 180 9th Street/Jersey CityNew Location! 7th/Madison St. HobokenLeague tracks all Player StatsEach teamgets pack of Jerseys or ShirtsLeague News, Standings, LeadersThe ABL App (free)Awards Party
Basketball
Men's Flag Football5-on-5, Run 'n Gun action. You'll need at least 8 players on the Roster, and games are played each Sunday afternoon in Hoboken. Team fee is just $695. Games kick off on April 19th.Our games are played '5 v 5', run and gun, lots of fast action...there's no need for bulky lineman in this league, as there is no blocking. QB should be quick enough to evade the rush (automatic rush from 7 yards off the line). The field is turf, so please wear appropriate footwear (rubber turf cleats or sneakers).
