Sports are an important part of life in the United States

This is especially true for American youth As they learn

to walk and talk American kids also learn to run throw

and kick Sports provide opportunities for children and

youth to engage in valuable and positive relationships

with adults and peers Sports have a positive impact on

individuals improved health enhanced self-esteem and

increased academic success Sports promote

inclusiveness team-building and leadership skills
