29 th June 2015 Dear Parent/Carer, Sports Day - Postponed Due to the weather forecast for Wednesday (1 st July), where temperatures are predicted to reach 26˚C by 10.00am, up to 32˚C by 1.00pm and alongside high humidity and very high UV levels, we have taken the decision to postpone Sports Day. Wednesday 1 st July will therefore revert to being a normal school day. Students should attend school at the normal time and be fully prepared for a full day of lessons. I do apologise if this has caused any inconvenience but I am sure that you will understand the reasons for the postponement. Planning is now taking place to run Sports Day for Years 7 – 9 on Wednesday 15 th July. Year 10 will have an opportunity to compete at the start of the autumn term. Further details will follow in due course. Thank you for your continuing support. Yours faithfully, Euan Ferguson Headteacher
