The Times of India is celebrating its 175 anniversary and as a part of this grand celebration, Sports Historian Borja Mazumdar has launced a book called 'Sporting Times'. The book is a compilation made from the archives of 175 years of sports writing published in The Times of India.
This unique book giving insight into the past 175 years of sports history was launched recently by the three sports icons: Sachin Tendulkar, Abhinav Bindra and the writer himself Borja Mazumdar. The book gives a delightful glimpse into the sports history of India.
Here's what Boria Mazumdar had to say about his experience of writing this book, “ I'm a sports enthusiast. I woke up at 4 am every day to dig up the archives.
