SPORTS GROUNDS In 8 selected African countries, there are

44 additional usable sports grounds in 25 locations available for sports activities.

28 of these sports grounds are rehabilitated, 16 are newly constructed.

These 44 additional usable sports grounds are available for regular use by 72,150 children and young people.

OVERVIEW S4DA ACHIEVEMENTS

For every core country, there are concepts geared to the institutional dissemination and implementation of the S4D approach in 20% of all supported partner organizations.*

63% of operators regularly implement measures geared to the care and maintenance of the additional usable sports grounds.*

11% of operators have a current sports ground usage plan.*

The S4D approach is made visible by 81 high-visibility measures through partner organizations in core countries. Additional 4 in non-core countries.

OVERVIEW S4DA ACHIEVEMENTS

Within S4DA 227 S4D coaches, 30% of them are female, were trained. 59 S4D coaches, 32% of them female, trained by SV are still involved in S4DA.

N.A. of them implement the S4D approach in line with the quality criteria defined in their S4D coach workshop.**

Within S4DA 108 S4D instructors, 35% of them female,

were trained. 8 S4D instructors, 25% of them female, trained by SV are till involved in S4DA.

8 of the 116 involved S4D instructors (7%) implemented at least one S4D workshop for coaches. 5 S4D instructors implemented at least one S4D instructor workshop.

Within S4DA 1,128 coaches were trained by partners on sports-related topics.
