tree enjoying the scenery and recapping

our day’s activities and adventures.

Ludwig von Beethoven. He is

celebrated throughout the city.

tour of this incredible

Cathedral. Magnificent!

At one time, it was the

tallest building in the world.

“Romantic” Rhine River Villages

Notice the tower at the end of the

street; it’s part of the old wall

protecting the city. We brag about 100

year old buildings. This is the “Neutor”

(new tower) finished in 1329.

Bacharach has numerous half-

timbered houses, including the

“Altes Haus” (oldest house)

located on the right of the

picture. It was built in 1368.

We will visit 2,000+ year-old

Bacharach, and spend a

night in a 12th century castle

overlooking the Rhine.

Our trip will include a day cruise

on the “romantic” Rhine River

Mayschoss Wine Cooperative

Tour the oldest wine cooperative in the

world, take a hike through the vineyards,

and sample their award winning wine.
