WHAT I USE AND WHY• Heart rate monitor:

• Essential for monitoring any activity.

• Is the training going as planned?

• Should I up the pace?

• Should I train longer at a lower pace?

• How and when will recover?

• What is my pace/distance/etc?

• Where are my limits?

MUSIC

• iPhone;

• My own thoughts, sounds of the wild

ALL IN ALL, NOTHING IS PERFECT• I use PolarFlow, because I have a Polar monitor … not because their web or mobile

application is the best …

• What I miss:

• For everything to be in one place:

• Daily activity;

• Sleeping analysis;

• Training;

• Recovery;

• Eating;

• Group activities.

CONCLUTION• JUST MOVE …. Gadgets are nice, but they will not move for you

• Start with the heart rate monitor … and I mean heart rate, not everything else monitor

• Learn to run/move with and without music … so a low battery would not kill Your training

• Keep a training diary… preferably online (notebooks are nice, but get lost, destroyed etc.)

• But if You lack motivation, there is nothing better then a new toy to try out

Hope to see You all on the track
